Yeah, but what about the good shows that i don't care about because I don't watch tv anymore?  Is there a way to build some kind of "TV Show Ark" for the good shows and nuke all the networks?

Nitpick:  The Ark and an arc are two separate things.  Just think about what Noah would have to do to get an elephant on an arc?!

Yah!  But BSG should have been brought onto the regular NBC lineup.  There was talk of that for a long time.  And NBC even aired three episodes of Battlestar in hi def just before the second season started, remember that?

It was cool.  And NBC was in fourth place and Battlestar was getting really respectable ratings for a cable show and lots of critical acclaim... it should have been a no brainer for a network dying for a hit... and we could have been watching it in HI DEF!!!

But yeah, DVD box sets have made watching good shows obsolete.  Just wait for the box set.  Read a good book while you wait...

Not at all, I DO think the stories and a lot of the ideas or dogmas are unlikely, offensive or stupid.  That's why I don't really understand the christians here making fun of Scientology because their stance boils down to "a big bearded guy who lives in the clouds is believable enough to live my life by but aliens and giving money? that's just CRAZY"

From what I understand 90% of religions boil down to 'be nice to people' which is a good message but a lot of the followers are either to stupid, weak or scared to actually see that part of it.

not just the men who enjoy the company of other men, and we have enough of those, thank you very much... no more applications are being sent out for them at this time.
