The Lucas video was sad, but so, so true to character. Lucas has truly become "more machine now than man, twisted and evil." He went from an innovative indy filmmaker to a prime example of what is wrong with most of Hollywood - all flash and no substance. I'm a serious Star Wars fanboy, so I'll always be thankful for his creation of the Star Wars universe, but he's gone off the deep end. Thank God he had nothing to do with Lord of the Rings. Hopefully Jackson won't go the same way. Lord knows the Wachowskis (The Matrix) sure as hell did in record time.

I'm sorry, but...The Matrix trilogy was a hell of a lot better than Peter Jackson's entire filmography combined. The Wachowskis always knew how to make a great film. Jackson NEVER knew how to make a great film.

I'm genuinely sorry if i misjudge, but you have to understand, the position that you take on this issue is so isolated and to the extreme that I have trouble reading your post and believeing  it to be anything but an attempt to pick a fight. Having formerly been a moderator on a board where that activity is commonplace, it might just be kneejerk to see that and think "troll", but you have to admit... you are definintely in a very tiny minority of fans who hold the stance you do on the two trilogies.

No, i kinda' picked up on that too. But i just think Isaac's signature should read something like:
"WARNING: I hated The Lord Of The Rings, I hate Peter Jackson... and you're never going to change my mind."

That way, it's finally just out there and no one will ever have to have that argument with him ever again!

You state that opinion a LOT. Almost like you sniff out any conversation where PJ may get a mention and make sure not a one goes by without critiquing his directing prowess. It's cool that you have that opinion, and you're certainly entitled to it, but sometimes you just wanna talk about how much you enjoy something without someone else saying they don't. If the topic is, "Do you enjoy Peter Jackson's work?" then you have every right to speak up. If the topic is, "I enjoy Peter Jackson's work and would be excited to hear he's doing something more!" then nobody's asking you. (No offense intended. Just keepin' the peace.)  :^)

Pretty much have to say it's deliberately trolling at this point since he making up some amazing amounts of crap that he knows is complete crap, like in the other studio thread, perhaps he just enjoys the attention he knows he is going to get since he knows people like me have that itch to always correct his mad mutterings.

What "deliberate trolling"? I still cannot understand why this guy is still being taken seriously. I mean...come on. He waited several years, after the movies came out, after the DVDs come out, until when they asked him back to do The Hobbit and then said "no. Pay me more money even though I've already made millions off of this stuff. Gooba gooba goo." His claims simply do not add up. These are facts. Peter Jackson does not look good in this situation.
