Yeah, I was actually not only disappointed in that but also a bit mystified...

I wish I hadn't read that. :(
Normally I don't care about spoilers, but that sucks.

That being said, I still REALLY want to go see this movie in the theater.  I'm hoping I have time before it's out of the theater.  :(

Bob

Just drug the kids and go this weekend

I'm so sorry, k1! I should have labeled it more clearly. :(

Also, right before the movie started APGIL said that he suspected it was going to happen, so while I didn't know for sure, I wasn't surprised when it did.

Yeah, good thing you didn't mention The Hulk is gay.

Oops!

...or that Captain Planet shows up

Coulson dismissing Loki is one of my favourite parts of the whole movie, top 5 probably but

- how I read any complaint about MST3k (or Star Wars or Ghostbusters)

I would love to see a spinoff Caulsen movie, actually. I liked the short they did for the (I think) Captain America DVD of him at the convenience store.

Just sayin'.

I felt it was a really great (and suprisingly powerful) moment, just having them get along would have been too easy

Yeah, I made sure to not read anything here spoilered either.

Unfortunately, I did get the spoiled for me in a review I knew I shouldn't have listened to before anyway.

Yeah, I can understand why it happened, and the film works a bit better with it in, all things considered. As is pointed out by Stark, it gives them something personal to fight for.

Plus, if you really want to get into the conspiracy theories, Joss did say that that character would survive the movie in some per-release interviews. As Fury did mess with them with the trading cards, it's possible he held back on that as well to further motivate them.

Then again, that's getting into "Two-Face isn't dead!" territory, and would be more than a little cheap if it were the case. So, sadly, I think he's gone for good, save for the occasional prequel/flashback.

>sigh<

Guys, remind me to drop in on the beer thread and talk about how much I don't like beer. Otherwise, I'm afraid I'll forget.

Ok, because I am not going to see the movie in the cinema, i'm not not allowed to give my opinion?

Your comparison does not make much sense either.
