Theory about ending

So having watched this "movie" again last night I came up with a new theory about the ending.

They claim the birds left because of the doves. I have a feeling they flew away because behind the main characters, Nathalie's mother was there with a knife and fork in hand just waiting for her 4Th lunch. So naturally the birds wanted to avoid that fate and flew away.

I also suspect she ate other animals, such as seals to the brink of extinction.

Agreed. 

Hell, maybe Natalie's mother's conversational voice would have been enough to irritate them away before they flew close enough to her for the food issues to frighten them.

Very true she did get annoying. Maybe she was also in the background singing her rendition of "Hanging with the Family". The original song probably caused the Birdemic in the first place but Nathalie's mother singing it would have ended it.
