I decided to start a thread about new additions to Netflix.  Feel free to help out.

March 30th:
Not much for the US.  Just a movie called The Double Hour that sounds forgettable.

Netflix Canada got a few higher profile movies: Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Midnight in Paris and the Blob (the Steve McQueen original).

(BTW, if you have Netflix and want to see what's new, I recommend whatsnewonnetflix.com.  Indispensable for netflix fans, since what came out on the day isn't a feature on the actual site.  They always have the "what's new" feature, but not one to show what came out when.  Plus, sometimes stuff gets glossed over of ignored.

US Highlights: Various films of the Magic Reader Classics series, Kennedy's Home Movies (exactly what it sounds like),  some IMAX movies (including Arabia), 2-Headed Shark Attack (This is the name of my Beach Boys/GWAR cover band), The Chicago Code, Rango, and Soulja Boy: the Movie.

Canadian Highlights: The Ellen Show, Men in Black: the Series (am I the only one who had a soft spot for the Columbia animated series?), The Tick (the Patrick Warburton version), Mad About You, Dilbert, the Nanny, Jackie Chan Adventures and the original Charlie's Angels series.

I say Canada wins this, but it's not exactly a blow out, by any means.

Pretty big day:

Highlights:
US: Submarine (directed by Moss from the IT Crowd), Ace in the Hole, Mr. Deeds, both Pet Semetary movies, Days of Heaven, and the Oscar nominated documentary Burma VJ.

Canada: Misfits (I hear it's a great show), basically all the Power Ranger series it didn't have before, X-Men: First Class, Life on Mars (UK version!  Sweet!), Torchwood (yet still no new Dr Who series?), Wayne's World and Braveheart.

Hmm... I think Canada has the nerd friendly win, but US had some great movies in there.

That site linked in the first post seems to be only for Canada:

there's a us version too: http://us.whatsnewonnetflix.com/

Great, I looked for a link to a US site but couldn't find one.  The site I posted is better for what's about to expire than for finding new stuff, you can find new stuff but you have to dig a bit into the site.

Hey, Let It Ride is new.  I love that movie, very underrated IMO.

Is there a UK version to any of the Netflix update stuff? I have no idea why they don't surface their new content, even though they have a "New" category that hasn't changed since launch.

Thanks to this, I let curiosity take hold and checked out the first episode. So far, can't say it made me an instant fan, but I do get it a little more. There's obviously a lot more to the show than your average toy-inspired kid show.  I was wondering if this was something I could recommend for my niece to watch that wouldn't annoy the hell out of my brother, and I think the answer there is a resounding yes.

Sadly none that I know of.  Yeah, they really need to make a clearer more detailed "new" section.

Transformers Prime!

Word is original Transformers will be on Netflix later this month.

Canada loses this one by having no updates today.

US highlights: The Cutting Edge, the documentary about thalidomiders Nobody's Perfect and UFO Invasion from the 1313 line of gay horror movies (my favourite title is from about an actor who decides to kill those who took his roles based solely on their looks.  The title?  Actor Slash Model.  Ha!)

Canadian Highlights: Face/Off

That is all.
