I thought it was pretty funny, especially the part where Arnold's walking around with this huge automatic weapon and Mike goes, "You know he just walks through the halls in Sacramento this way".  Also enjoyed the deflating of Claire Danes.  But I have to admit that once the track was over, and we'd cleaned up all the blood and entrails, I actually went back to the movie to hear the dialogue that Mike and Kevin were talking over.  I wanted to hear that whole conversation about Katherine Brewster's ("of the Punky Brewsters!") father and his part in the whole thing.  First time I'd done that with a movie I hadn't seen ahead of time.

I also called my fiance and told him that I hoped he would not get shot by an assassin robot from the future.  He did not pause to ask me why I was saying this, only thanked me.  That is why I'm marrying him.

Missed riff opportunity:  The West Wing part in which everybody's doing the rapid walk-n-talk, and they turned a corner and there were CLEARLY two enormous urinal-shaped objects behind them.  Come on, guys!  Urinal joke!

(tiny tiny voice:  I thought Arnold was kind of hot in the movie.   I say this is a tiny tiny voice because 1) I'm engaged 2) It's ARNOLD 3) Four years in a womens' college is supposed to inoculate me from falling for the whole "big strong man protects you" thing.  Then again, my professor in Gender and Politics never said anything about assassin robots from the future, so maybe I've found me a loophole.)

General comment:  Can we PLEASE bring in Mary Jo?  I grow weary of the naked woman/"I declare this movie suddenly GREAT!" moments.

BathTub

Yeah I've decided to watch all the films first now to get over the 'Wait, what is he saying' thing.

LOL, LadyKenobi, you are awesome.  You kind of remind me of Lorelei on "The Gilmore Girls", (my WIFE watches it, OK??!!!!).

Anyways, to the peeps that say they like the movie and so they won't buy this one, I say, "Get over it for the sake of Rifftrax!"  Look, LOTR is one of my favorite films, and I resisted the Rifftrax for it, but finally I just said "screw it, I'm goin' in for Mike's sake..." and I watched it.  It was awesome!  And, it didn't ruin the movie for me at all.

Also, I HATE Brittney Spears.  Deep hatred.  White-hot nova hatred.  But, I DL'd the 'Trax and paid the money, just to support this amazing thing we have here.  I never watched it, but they still got my money.

So, I guess what I'm saying is, just suck it up and support the team.
Hi!  I'm Randy and I'm a Riffaholic...

BathTub

I enjoyed the film and loved the rifftrax.

torgosPizza

Randy, you need to drop what you are doing and watch Crossroads post haste. It's one of the best, IMO. Your deep hatred of Britney will be satisfied. Mike is fairly brutal, but of course everyone in the film gets their share, not just Titney.

It really is awesome, I highly recommend you watch it!!!

sarcasm_made_Easy

randy i second torgo there, crossroads is probably the one rifftrax where i laughed the hardest.  HONESTLY my jaw actually was sore the next day.

ok so because you are innaculated from the whole protect me thing suddenly means you dont like big strong men?  That sucks.  I would hate to think that in any way i could ever get over wanting the "classical heroine rescue the damsel thingy"

NOT awesome!  Reread  my quote, focusing on the part in which the word "supposed" is used.

Sounds like you've got a keeper.  :)

You gotta admit they did pretty well with the urinal fight, though!

Okay, here's a couple I forgot:

"What, was she calling the WB?" ZING!  ;D

"No, she's gonna be in 'Guys and Dolls.' OF COURSE she's gonna be in the resistance!"

What a wonderful riff! "Did i do that?" LOL
I loved the scene in the vet hospital when she picks up her phone. "Dont do that', "Your out of minutes and it'll cost you a fortune"

Also "Who is your daddy and what does he do"  ;D

I have the backbone of a jellyfish. I will buy it, especially since it's being so highly praised here, and to support the team.

Now, all I have to do is think of an excuse I can give for owning it should Claire Danes ever drop by unannounced.

Ha, that is the same reason I own so many Maria Bello films.   I just know she will drop in one day to borrow a cup of flour.

SecretAgentSuperDragon

Just finished this one, and it was awesome. Definitely in my top 5 now.

I loved Mike's Jewel singing Arnold. "Dese hands are small, I know.." :D

im not awesome *sniffle*

ok so i reread your post, AND i still dont get it.  you arent protected against big men protecting you?  got it, BUT i still dont get why you WANT to be, that was the meaning of my post.

LadyKenobi

I mean that it's not PC, particularly in the context of a womens' college, to like the idea of a big strong man protecting a woman.
