You deleted files you'd already given them money for to force them to come to AC? I'm not sure I follow that logic.

I WISH I only had to travel the short distance you would have to.

This coming from a Dane Cook fan.   ::)  I don't know how else to see a show.  :grr:  They clearly don't give a fuck about fans who have no access whatsoever to theaters.  Is it that difficult to have a FATHOM Event?  I"m not going to purchase anything from this group until there is a show in Atlantic City.  And your dumbass comments aren't going to get me to change my mind.

Obviously I can't speak for CT but generally speaking artists don't pick where they perform. A promoter makes that decision then brings them to whatever venue. I would bet that the people that book all those AC casinos have never heard of CT and therefore do not book the show. You could always take the initiative and suggest to various venues that they bring CT out or find out which promoter books for where and convince them that the show will make money.

it bugs the hell out of me when people attempt to deal rationally with hateful trolls, as if theyre all-of-a-sudden going to completely change their tone. i mean, do you really think she appreciates your advice or will take any action on it? nothing personal, torso, but really, why waste your time on this piece of shit?

I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. Once. Also the information I posted is valid and there are tons of people that always wonder why this or that never comes to my town and they have no idea how these things work. Maybe my post will help one of those? I used to book shows for bands I wanted to see and have my band open up for. All it took was a phone call to a club and a phone call to a booking agent (and usually a 20% up front of the guarantee). Easy as pie!

I drove by the Grand Opera House where the Wilmington show will be.  It's right downtown.  I can't really figure out how I'm gonna find parking.

Yeah.  Go to small towns with smaller audiences and slower ticket sales.  That's a winning idea.  They're already a small group catering to a niche market.

They've been in my *time zone* twice. They haven't been to 3 of the 10 biggest cities in the US. (And they've only appeared in LA once.) Yeah, Atlantic City might be pushing it, size-wise. (Although they did play not terribly large Reno.) But Atlanta? Houston? Baltimore? Miami? These aren't flyspecks.  Their booking agent needs to be a bit more proactive in getting bookings, IMO.

And unless this is just some sort of coincidence, I've confirmed it:

I haven't bought a DVD in a very long time.   ::)  There hasn't been one that can keep my interest for more than 3 seconds.

My name pretty much says it.  When Rifftrax first debuted, I was really skeptical since they only seemed to do recent Hollywood movies.  I'm glad I was wrong about them.  It's the only way I will watch the Twilard movies, and a lot of what Hollywood craps out these days.  FYI, I've never read the crappy books, and  won't unless there's a gun pressed to my head.

I have seen every single Godzilla movie ever released (including the real shitty one that wasn't really Godzilla so much as a mutated iguana).  I do have various monster movies from Japan and here.  Unfortunately, with the exception of Cloverfield (which I L-O-V-E!!!!!!!), no one makes monster movies anymore.  At least, not sci-fi type.  You can understand how hard it is for me to go to the theaters when there literally aren't any movies that will keep my attention for more than 3 seconds.  The last time I went to a theater was for "Jack the Giant Killer."

Anways, there you go.

Notice the repeated use of movies not holding their attention for more than 3 seconds.

From their most recent email:

NEW EPISODES ARE COMING!

We'll be filming both "War of the Insects" and "Rattlers" and we plan to release the first of the two DVDs in November.  We've heard from so many people who have been anxious for new shows, we appreciate your patience and continued interest in CT.
Soo.. Any News on when 'Rattlers' will be released??

I hope it's not the end of the year or even worse, they forgot :-[
