There is actually going to be a live show in Wilmington DE of all places, and I am going to make sure I get to that.
There is?  When?

1/21/12 8:00 pm
Grand Opera House  Wilmington, DE

There's also going to be a show in Philly:

Keswick Theater
Cinematic Titanic – 2 Movie Mini Marathon
The premiere of Astral Factor & Frankenstien's Castle of Freaks!
Dec 30 • 8:00pm

I'd love to see them at the Keswick, but I'll probably be away visiting my dad on the 30th. The 1/21 in Wilmington might work, hmmmmm....

I doubt they'll ever come to Charlotte, NC so I may never see them live :-\

Is Durham far from Charlotte? They'll be there in March.

Kinda.  I think it's something like 150 miles.

But hey, I drove further than that to get to Punxsutahwney for Groundhog Day.

Fair weather fan!

I lived in Durham back in 2004, working a job I was wholly unqualified for, and which I quit after 10 months.  Life was relatively good there.  The people at work and the environment were nice, the town had all the amenities of a medium sized town, plus more in nearby Raleigh, Hillsborough, Apex, and Chapel Hill.  Chapel Hill was particularly pretty because Main Street ran right along UNC Chapel Hill, which was very pretty and tree-lined.  It was just like the University of Delaware campus, and felt like a little slice of home 300 miles away.

I miss Durham, and wish I could have a second chance with the professional and personal experience I've accrued in the past 8 years.  I had the opportunity to visit again on the way back from my trip down south last month.  It felt like I'd never left.  I wish I could have stayed longer, but with my car's transmission failing that just wasn't gonna work.

Okay I saw the site where the tickets were for sale.  Have you got tickets yet?  What price range section are you thinking?  I've convinced my friend Karenina to come along so maybe we'll see ya there, or we can sit together.

I haven't gotten my tickets yet, but I plan on doing so soon. I was going to get one of the better seats close to the stage,, they're only $41.

Since this group makes a point to not have shows where people don't have access to theater halls, NOT PURCHASING UNTIL SHOW IN AC!

So they should make a point to have shows where people don't have access to theater halls?? How would that work?

Hell yeah!  Either Cinematic Titanic does a live show in my living room, or they don't get another god damn dime from me.

I'm heavily leaning toward the mid range seats in the blue section (the $36 ones).  A seat way up front would be too uncomfortable (I'd sorta have to tilt my neck up to see the screen).  If you look at the seating chart, some of the primo seats in the blue section are in the middle of the theater.  So I'll probably get 2 of those.

They can have one in of the many AC casinos instead of always playing in theater halls since I don't live near any.  I don't live near Philly (or Wilmington or Princeton, or Newark) so until there is a show in Atlantic City, I will not purchase ANY live DVD.  I also will not repurchase any of the studio ones.  I deleted those once I realized they don't give a damn about small-town fans.

ATLANTIC CITY OR FORGET YOU!

yeah, that sounds precisely like their target demographic. maybe they can get snooki to open for them by shooting ping pong balls out of her haunted snatch.

oh, and good luck with your little protest, there. should have devastating effects.

This coming from a Dane Cook fan.   ::)  I don't know how else to see a show.  :grr:  They clearly don't give a fuck about fans who have no access whatsoever to theaters.  Is it that difficult to have a FATHOM Event?  I"m not going to purchase anything from this group until there is a show in Atlantic City.  And your dumbass comments aren't going to get me to change my mind.

I think Cinematic Titanic is doing fine without catering to entitled, spoiled little shitheads like you.

Yeah.  Go to small towns with smaller audiences and slower ticket sales.  That's a winning idea.  They're already a small group catering to a niche market.
