(old man rant) ive been here since here since the very conception of the first penguin puzzle you young wippersnapper!!!  why if i wasnt so old id school you right now some lessons about the way things used to be.  (/old man rant)

dude your probably right, ive NEVER got even close to understanding the puzzles.  I can barely keep up with the 20 questions most times lol

I de-jumbled the very first one about the Riff-Off contest.
But enough of the braggardry, let's solve this thing.

sarcasm_made_Easy

you mean YOU solve this thing lol, this is your expertise.  My expertise is in making snarky comments while you do it.

dont think its a cryptogram unless it has to do with someone named renee or about a melee.  and i am pretty sure they are not going to riff on monkey island 1

CONTENT EXPERIMENT GO JOIN UP

Well, it's something.  I'll keep cracking at it.

I don't think that's a coincidence. I tried looking at that cuts contest page for "experiment 672" or something similar, but no go. Could be something in the cuts thread or on that site?

Edit: Fixem typo

tgeorgic

well someone solve it, i'm bering dragged onto vanguard in 10 minutes.  did you see if there is an experiment 672 on youtube?

ChrisHanel

Searching for that on Youtube just brings up Lilo & Stitch videos.

EDIT: Sorry, i searched 627 instead of 672. Searching for "experiment 672" brings up absolutely nothing.

tgeorgic

thats what i figured.  its got to be something to do with the letters that show up and the i is a clue because it was reposted after that was added and they do that whenever they feel we are missing the thing they want us looking at.  oh well, i'm off to be slaughtered, see you all later on.

Well it turns THIS up, but I don't think it has a thing to do with anything. :^)

ChrisHanel

I've been working on it since it was posted, to the point of almost getting in trouble at school. :) But i'm home now, so i'll keep cracking. I'm gonna try variations for treating the flashing I's as seperate or as the same I.

ChrisHanel

Treating the constant I's as singular letters:

GCOT TIXUP i RNM OENEE OINE TNJP

Treating the constant i's as seperate i's every time it reappears:

GCOT TIXUP i RNM OENEE i OINE TNJP i

ChrisHanel

Speaking of which, if you count the lowercase i, "CONTENT EXPERIMENT GO JOIN UP" doesn't work because it doesn't use it.

Other clues we've kind of forgotten about:

-Quotes from Frankenstein (or Young Frankenstein, take your pick)
-The use of lightning
-The imagery of the sky
-The letter I being in lowercase as opposed to everything else (The eye in the sky?)
-The variation of light and dark letters (OINE and TNJP being dark)

The filenames: tesla.swf and experiment_672.swf....

Anyone know of a library of Tesla's experiments?

The Tick

i think wiki has a list of some not sure tho
Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music.

SecretAgentSuperDragon

Tesla didn't really have a library. He did all his experiments in his head, and when he was done, he simply moved on to the next one. You could try checking, though.
