Star Trek V is a good starting point.
Ditto!

Wow I have fun in an earthquake here in southern Mexico and this thread got real interesting! :D :D

You can tell this series is complete bullshit fiction just by looking at her. Who seriously thinks that perma-confused look is attractive?

I still remember seeing a cardboard standup at my old job promoting one of the DVDs coming out, and something about it seemed horribly wrong compared to everything I knew about the series. Took me all night to figure out it was because Kristin Stewart was SMILING in the picture!  I didn't think she could do that!

Right, so I just discovered that NPH has participated in a riff. Must download, like yesterday. Also going to try Titanic since the reviews seem to be pretty solid. I can't wait until my day off tomorrow!

Hahaha, fantastic idea! But seriously, if I have to look at Kristen Stewart's stupid face any more, I will end the world.

Still, you must watch it. Here, have a sample scene.

Or perhaps this:

Or just ignore the Twilight stuff and take a look at the 5 year gag reel, which perversely seems to have an image of Edward as the default image :

And Wonka is a great riff, BTW. You'll enjoy it.

Darth Geek

Yeah, Wonka is an excellent riff. Neil Patrick Harris is a great guest riffer. And if you want interesting guest riffers, Wierd Al Yankovich guest riffs on Jurassic Park!

Manderie

Oh- I forgot to say, I did manage to get through the Twilight riff last night and it was pretty satisfying to watch. I'm just wondering how one of my best friend's will react when I make her watch it. I may not live.

Didn't he make an album in the 90's based on that movie? Or the cover was similar to the movie poster? I will have to check that out too. So many riffs, so little time!

He did a parody song around Jurassic Park (parody of McArthur Park) and the cover of the album was related to that. And yes, they did mention it once in the riff (and a few other references, but not excessively).

I thought so. I listened to his songs when I was a kid, but I think his speaking voice is a little too much for me, I saw the sample.

Welcome!  Nice to have another lady on board.  By the way, you can really belt out a tune!

If you're at all tech savy, I recomend you reauthor (you can find out how in the technical support posts).  It makes watching Rifftrax far more enjoyable.

Thanks!

And I'm not sure what it means to "reauthor," but I will definitely look into it.

Basically merging your mp3 RiffTrax and the movie onto one disc and creating the best MST3K version available, minus the bots 8)

Ahh I see. Not sure if I'm that savvy or have the patience. So far I've been pretty good at syncing the mp3 with the video!

That's what I still do, put in the Blu-Ray and use the iPod.

TheUnabeefer

Just re-watched the first Harry Potter riff.  Forgot how solid that was.  I think it may be one of their best......

Oh and for some REAL pain (from laughing) .... Birdemic.
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.
