I see Doc is working on the skills needed to be a Catholic nun teacher in his next life......

Okay, I was watching a show on BBC America, season one of a detective show called "Luther".   The main guy in there looked very family so I looked him up on IMBD and it turns out he was in Thor (the only black guy).   Also, he was Stringer Bell in The Wire.   I cannot believe it took me so long to recognize him.

Don't forget to tilt the image in accord with all the Dutch-angle shots this movie had. I swear, the 2nd half of this movie went crazy with the Dutch angles! I wonder how many cinema audiences started tilting their heads.

Dutch angles work better in Venice than New Mexico.

Bob

I think Battlefield Earth set the bar high on the Dutch angles.....

Any issues with the RiffTrax main page should be directed to support@rifftrax.com Attempts to engage with me directly about such matters will result in ridicule.

Just got around to reading this thread.  While I am really enjoying creating these new fully illustrated posters, I do agree with some of your sentiments that the old formula was already established and working great... the fine folks at RiffTrax wanted to try something fresh and different and that it is.  I personally like both styles.
The most important thing of course is that you all enjoy the product itself and thus keep buying the riffs etc. so that RiffTrax can stay in business and keep producing more.

Thank you for the compliments, they always appreciated!    (I love the DA hammer in your poster Ninjew)  :)

Bob

Ha, I do not remember the hideous product placement of Go-Lean Crunch while at the theater.   Seeing it now, that is horrible!

I didn't get a Sync file with mine. Is it one of these DVDs:

QuoteQ: Are there any DVDs that just won't play?
Yes, unfortunately. As of this writing (March 31, 2011), the following discs are not yet playable by the Riffplayer:  Casino Royale, Last Airbender, The Dark Knight, Star Trek (2009).
QuoteSome DVD copy protection uses "junk data" that makes it hard for our player to play the DVD.

Or did a Sync file mysteriously elude my ZIP file?

Not as bad as the product placement for Cheerios in Superman the Movie. The box was in the center of the shot and had a light on it.
