I'd like to see the Avengers fight someone or something we'd never expect,
but would be really damn exciting... Magneto for instance? How about
Galactus? Except not the lame ass cloud from ROTSS...

Doctor Who?

Loki showed up as the end of Thor and at first i thought that was a teaser for Thor 2 but I saw him in the Avengers trailer,do you think he is going to be the big bad everyone has to team up to take down. One thing is for sure he was an awesome villain in Thor and I would like to see more of him,but he does not strike me as the destroy the world just for the heck of it type.

You should read some actual Norse Mythology, that is kind of a thing for him.

I am talking about the character in the movie.  He was trying to destroy the Ice Giant home world to prove that he was Odien's son and not an Ice giant.  He really didn't strike me as the type who would just show up on earth and try to destroy everything(the only reason he went there was because Thor was there),I don't know I think there may be another villain in this film besides him.

I thought the Skrulls were going to be in this? I am not in favor of having to juggle so many major characters, justify why a guy with a bow and a ninja belong on the same team as a fucking GOD, a monster and a guy with flying tank armor, AND establish an entire new alien race. Just use Hulk as a villain they have to fight at the beginning to justify their formation, and have Loki as the big bad at the end. Maybe set up the Skrulls at the end or something, but for crying out loud don't make the movie overly complicated.

Need somebody who is cool and bad-ass.... so I want to say Kevin Bacon
as Sebastian Shaw... but dammit he died already. :P

Thanos would be a great idea too, definitely.

Well, see we know he's not going to die, and neither are the rest, and the Hulk
isn't exactly very smart so it's kind of a pointless battle if you decided to do that.

well in the comics hulk is unstoppable just look at World war hulk

I don't think that's the Hulk we'll be getting though. I'd be much more
interested to see the intelligent, Gray Hulk.

the one that worked as a bouncer in vegas?  nah
Agreed, I hated that version. I did like the Professor Hulk (I think that was what he was called) who had Banner's intelligence. But for this movie, I think having him be dumb is best. Not mindless, but very akin to how he was in The Incredible Hulk (which this is an extension of anyway). A huge Hulk fight against Thor and Iron Man would be badass, but you are right, it doesn't carry the dramatic wieght of a full length movie. That's why the Hulk Vs. animations were only 40 minutes or so (and there was more than just fighting in those too). So having that at the beginning would be a good way to go.

Johnny Unusual

Well, there are a few scattered villains to make a Masters of Evil and Kang the Conqueror would be pretty cool too.

The avengers vs MODOK ya know the mental organism designed only for killing.  Cause there is no way that would be silly WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo  besides lets face as cool as we want this movie to be, its way too over hyped and burdensome, hell it has 5 freaken main charectars not to include all the minor ones plus villians, its way to ridiculous to work basically its X men 3 or mortal kombat 2

Except all the character has been established and shown meeting each other in other movies so all this movie has to do is show a threat that none of them can take on alone and show them coming together as a team. The animated Justice League movies have done it with no trouble so i don't think it will be a problem here.  Xmen 3's biggest problem was that we had never seen half the characters before and half the characters we had seen before were killed off in the first half hour,I don't see that happening here.

I just dont see it working as a big emotionally connected to the charectars type of movie.  The animated ones only work because im not attached either but they bother to try, they just assume you know what the heck is going on from the get go.
