I like the cartoon poster art myself.

Doctor Who?

Gotta tell ya' gang, I'm really not liking the new poster designs. The cartoony look really takes away from the impact.

Besides, the "bobble-head" design has been in place pretty much since the beginning. It works. Don't try to fix it.

And Mike, Kevin, and Bill are the "faces" of RiffTrax, and they should be on all the products. They're more of the brand mascots now than DisembAudio is.

So, because I just can't stand it, I created an alternate poster for your consideration.  Hope y'all like it.

:scared: So your solution is to give Kevin tits?! I feel safer with the cartoon poster.  :speechless:

And I also don't think I will be buying this one, as I also really liked the movie (riffs of movies I really like almost always fall flat for me) and because Iron Man was one of the few riffs we had to stop watching because we weren't enjoying it.
Is there any connection between Iron Man & Thor beyond their comic superhero origins? I haven't seen Thor yet, but I have to imagine the styles are different simply based on the directors. Iron Man was directed by Jon Favreau & Thor was directed by Kenneth Branagh. Iron Man had a pretty tongue in cheek, self-deprecating sense of humor; I've gotten the impression that Thor takes itself much more seriously (Branagh usually directs Shakespeare, after all). Do tell me if my impression is wrong, though.

It's completely wrong,. The film takes place on an epic scale but that doesn't stop it from being the most fun I have had ina theater in a long time. It has a great sense of humor If I had to compare it to another movie I would compare it to Superman the movie, there is peril and the characters are not a joke but it has a lot of gags and humor.

(sarcasm) Yes. That was my sole intention. Giving Kevin "tits". I didn't have enough time to enlarge Mike's "junk" so I cut corners. (/sarcasm)

Personally I think the next poster should have Mike et all as ponies. Or aardvarks. I think aardvarks are about to really explode into mass consciousness.

The new posters are OK, I'm just glad we finally got another first run movie.
I'm still still waiting for riffs on Jumper and The Island.
And whatever happened to special guest riffers???

How about a Thor-spin on some dialogue from Space Cowboys?
I have never met a kid who didn't dream of being a Loki when he grew up.
Did you ever meet a Thor who didn't grow up?

Jane: Would you like me to read the instructions to you again?
Thor: Let me tell you something, my dear. Those instructions were written by a fellow in Bi-frost when they made this damn thing. They were probably translated by some Frost Giant who was an expatriate Bifrostian that couldn't get a job in this world. And then the Bifrostian guy probably translated him just to double check on him. You don't need these instructions. Not at all. Tear them up.

 That's the hardest I've laughed all week.

Ahh, good old Space Cowboys. Eastwood's most dignified work since Paint Your Wagon.

The Simpson spoof on that is still one of the funniest things they have ever done.

Really? He did two films with an orangutang as a co-star, a horribly unfunny comedy with Burt Reynolds and Bronco Billy plus a Dirty Harry film with Jim Carrey and another film where he plays second fiddle to Charlie Sheen. Not to mention The Bridges of Madison County, and somehow out of all that Space Cowboys stands out as the goofy one?

The goofy one is the one with the female boxer.

I mean pshhaw women boxers really?  Am i right fellas?

Yes. Space Cowboys is merely goofy. Every Which Way But Loose is absolutely despicable. The only reason I saw it was because of the amusing reference in Shaun of the Dead. That's the last time I'll trust Edgar Wright with references!

The Dead Pool, on the other hand, I will remain a defender of. The toy car chase is hysterical, a brilliant spoof of the Bullitt chase. Jim Carrey's Axl Rose impersonation is hilarious (and bizarre, and unexpected). I applaud films that make me go "WTF?" rather than "oh great, not this again." (Where does Blood Work fit into all of this?)

Didn't he only make the Dead Pool as part of a deal that got Unforgiven made?
