I would do them both ;)

Where does she rank on the Disney Princess royal scepter scale?

Man i STILL love that thread.

I'd say the "good" version of the princess is way hotter over the "evil"/witch version.

My favorite part? When the camera held on Bill for 30 seconds while Kevin was talking off screen.

I really enjoyed that part because it's only fitting that guys who laugh at bad movies, suddenly became a part of their own if only for a few seconds!

I have to say, this is my favorite live event so far.

Anyway, forgive my pop culture ignorance, but could someone explain the "be right there" joke?

As far as I know, there's no pop culture tie-in. The dragon men were just moving reeeeeeeeal slowly.

rifftrax live was way better than i thought it was going to be.   wanna see it again!  I regret skipping the other ones.

how soon will the next one be?  the manager said every six months or so when I told her this was the nizzle and do it again plox.

Yeah, I don't think there was any pop-culture reference on the "be right there", I think it was just the "dragon men" were moving very slowly by doing a pathetic little waddle.

As far as the next event, I'd expect one probably late this fall or in December.  One hasn't been formally announced yet but they do seem to do one every six-to-eight months or so, I think the last one they did was back in October with the re-visit of House on Haunted Hill.

As much as enjoy the the "re-visits" of movies like Plan Nine, HoHH, and Reefer Madness (the "Live" versions are much better than their original counterparts as far as jokes but I sort-of wish the Live DVD didn't have all of the live-audience distractions like the clapping/laughter and such and had better audio) I think the Live versions should be a new riff on some PD movie.

ApathyMan

Sung to the tune of the Goldfinger theme:

Bone-Seizer, he's the man, the man with a bone-filled grip,
It will not slip
Such a bone-seizer beckons you to enter his grip of steel,
What will you feel?

[begin repeat]
Smooth hard bone, he will take in his glove,
He faintly smiles, his eyes filled with love
For a bone knows when he's gripped it,
Its the grope of death from Mister
Bone-Seizer, take heed to beware of his clammy hold
His hands are cold
[end repeat]

I mean, really cold
Very cold
Did I mention its cold?
So very cold
Really cold
His hands are COLD

DragonMan82

This was my first Rifftrax live event, and I only discovered rifftrax last month (you should definitely have Netflix put in a link on all of the MST3K movies).
I LOVED it, and laughed my a$$ off. I couldn't even breath during the "be right there" scene followed by the gyrating gay skeleton ("still bouncing").

I can't wait for the next live event! Also loved the "Movie Facts" before the show. And I couldn't believe how many places in Vegas it was playing at.

PS- Might not want someone's nephew running the video switcher in the first 15 minutes of the show next time  ;)

Then there was the repetition of the line.

I'm surprised that when Pendragon called the dragon-men, no one said something like, "Based on the way they moved, they certainly weren't Russian [rushin'] men!"

eegah

My wife suggested that they weren't "dragon" men, they were "draggin'" men, as in "their a$$es were draggin'".
