What Andy Richter, Chris Hardwick and Adam Savage aren't enough for you?

I still say a Nerdist riff would be great... maybe with just Jonah and Matt but still!

In a few days, Rest of the Best will be doing "the Riffers We'd Like to See" riff, so you could add Nerdist as a whole to that list.  (We have a good number of participants, but it would be nice to have more.  Check the sig below.)

EDIT: Actually, it's tomorrow.  Please take part!

So six weeks now.  There hasn't been a new full length riff in a while and likely won't be for while longer as they're prepping for the live show.  Why not release it now?  What's so special about this riff that it's been held up so long?

The 'special' thing is that this is the first in their new line of 'Time Capsule' Riffs, recorded and then released 50 years later so that people of the future can see what we were riffing in 2011. Exciting stuff!

But really, I think it's gonna be Janet and Cole's first VOD.

You guys, it take a really long long time to riff Gore Verbinkski movies. We keep nodding off in the middle and have to start over and it's put us months behind schedule!

Buuuuut seriously...

I can't give you guys a definitive timeline/release date yet, but I can say there is a component that we haven't completed yet and with all of the craziness (i.e. Comic Con, Jack and The Giant Killer, our Rifftrax shorts night) we've had to put a bit of a hold on things. But soon enough I hope we will cross our "T"s and dot our "I"s and get this thang back on track! Sorry for the delay!

Still waiting for you guys to tackle the Sergei Eisenstein movies, but whatever.   Image all the humor in "Ivan the Terrible" parts 1 and 2.

Busy guy Best of luck to you. . and thanks for the update. It sucks being busy and getting behind, I know how it is, i've been working on trying to do my own iRiff for about a year now and im only got 30 mins of jokes, it's tough work. I need a comedy partner. I could go old school and make all fart sounds for the last hour of the movie.

We're getting there! Honest! The delay will (hopefully) make sense when all this is said and done. Should be sometime in October if all goes well... again, sorry!

This is going to turn into another "the GI Joe riff is coming soon, really" type situation, isn't it?

The original announcement was around March/April, which was the original intended release of The Thing prequel. Now it's being released in October. Since I like finding ridiculous connections in things and assuming they're true I'm going to go ahead and assume it's The Thing, to be released with the new one.
