Hands down, After Last Season.

At least in The Room and Birdemic I knew basically what was going on, and the sets looked approximately like what they were supposed to be. Even Julie & Jack was basically comprehensible. I'm an aficionado of bad movies, but this wasn't fun, or cheesy, or laughable - it's just a bizarre, badly-done, confusing mess.

Oh, Good call. That's a movie that proves that sometimes, boring is way worse than stupid,
especially when it's boring combined with stupid.

I finally watched North, and I put it to you my peers that it may arguably be
the worst mainstream film of all time. What I find insulting is that North
has a hefty 11% rating on Rotten Tomatoes... when classic films like
Heart Beeps has a 0%!!!!!

Wow.

You've read the infamous Roger Ebert review, right?

QuoteI hated this movie. Hated hated hated hated hated this movie. Hated it. Hated every simpering stupid vacant audience-insulting moment of it. Hated the sensibility that thought anyone would like it. Hated the implied insult to the audience by its belief that anyone would be entertained by it.

That is great!  I know he takes a lot of flak but I have always enjoyed Ebert's reviews.  I miss At the movies.  He and Gene Siskle made a great team.

Personally, I think the worst movies are those unpleasant terrible movies that everyone seems to think are masterpieces of cinema.  Something shlocky like The Room or Plan 9 is at least so bad its good, and everyone KNOWS it's poorly made.  But you get dreadful crap like The Godfather which everyone oohs and aahs over and says "OMG PERFECT MOVIE", and that just makes it that much more unpleasant.

Date Movie was the only movie I ever saw in a theater and walked out on due to sheer awfulness.

If anything can top monster a go go I would be shocked.  Its barely a movie by any standard.

Really you think The Godfather is the worst movie ever made. Even if you did like the story you have to admit it is one of the best acted and well shot films ever made.

I kinda think that is using worst in a different way there.
