New TMNT movie?

Have we talked about that here? Anyone heard anything about? I just saw a preview.  It's all CGI.  Sarah Michelle Geller is April and Patrick Stewart is a bad guy.  Looks interesting but I figure it's going to be another bastardization of one of my childhood favorites.

I think there was a little discussion.  I think it looks pretty neat, myself.  I was a huge fan of the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, when I was younger, so perhaps I'm a little biased.

I was a big fan of the original show and movies and it does look neat. Apparently the plot is after Shredder is defeated, the turtle family is breaking apart and Splinter is trying to keep them together but then a bad guy comes around.

That part seems a bit lame, but just looking at the previews it looks pretty cool.  I'll see it anyway.

The voice who plays Leo is the guy who played "Tidus" in FFX.

Jesus, how many silly things is Stewart trying to dignify now? I'm starting to wonder if he can actually act, or if he only seems like he can when he's being the calm British guy in an ocean of leather and goofiness.

I havent thought stewart has any real talent (other than a cool voice) since i saw him in conspiracy theory.

And Mako did the voice of Splinter - I think it was just a few months before his death that the recording was completed.

Looking forward to this also - it should be good for a lazy weekend.
