"Turbulence" would be a good one too, although no one remembers the pain it inflicted except for me.  Really, this was the first movie to actually hurt me.  I'll never forget the line:  "I think it's a Ford."  It was as though the ghosts of all of the worst screenplay writers of all time got together to forge a verbal icepick and shoved it into my temple.  I don't know anyone who has seen the movie, I was able to spare my family and friends from the experience.  However, no one else seems to remember the movie, so maybe it was just me.
Ohh, I rented this in my early teens, back when I was less discriminating. My memory of it is like a vacuum, all I really remember is Ray Liotta taunting a stewardess in an upside-down airplane.

Have you read Roger Ebert's scathing one-star review? It's also included in his book 'I Hated, Hated, Hated This Movie.' This may help vindicate your suffering: http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/19970110/REVIEWS/701100306/1023

Okay, here's 10 that Mike and the guys haven't done that I think would be fun to see.  I realize iRiffs exist for some of them, but I guess I like to hear the old pros, doing what they do best.  So with no further ado:

Dollman
True Lies
Total Recall
The Running Man (okay, enough Schwarzenegger)
Kill Bill (1 or 2 or both, no matter)
Mars Attacks
Stargate
The Wizard of Oz (Sobriety has made "The Dark Side of Oz" less impactful for me.)
Knowing
Planet of the Apes (Preferably Heston, but Wallburg might be more "riffable."

Bonus Movie:
The Last Action Hero (what can I say, I think Ahnold deserves it.)

Official Rifftrax Presents entries exist for "The Running Man" and "Planet of the Apes". Would you be interested in those or do the "old pros" need to be involved?

Nothing against the Rifftrax Presents.  I got Spiderman 2, which didn't feature Mike, but had Bill, Kevin and another fellow, whose name escapes me.  They did a great job.

It's just that I'm only starting to purchase riffs, and I'm still going through the ones that feature Mike, Bill and Kevin.

I have missed MST3K, so I have a bit of a soft spot for their work.  When I have demolished their catalog, I'll probably start looking at movies riffed by others.

Is there a general rule that the guys won't riff a movie that someone on "Presents" has already riffed?  I was just wondering about that.

If its a Rifftrax Presents title, yeah, chances are it won't get a Mike/Kevin/Bill Rifftrax.  They haven't come right out to say that, but I think it's a pretty safe bet.  They have riffed movies that got iRiffed, but no doubling up on Rifftrax/Rifftrax Presents.

I think it has more to do with the fact that there are so many riff worthy movies for them to choose from that once a Rifftrax Presents has been done there is little point for MKB to duplicate that, with so many other choices vying for their attention. Which is a shame, as I REALLY want somebody to do a proper funny riff of Ghost Rider, as the Rifftrax Presents for it was piss poor.

Sorry to hear you didn't like it. Are there any iRiffers you like who you think would be up to the job?

I'm a huge fan of Quiptracks, Hor-Riff-ic Productions, Cinester Theater, RoninFox, Turkey Shot, Treacheriffs, Ice on Mars, Riff Raff Theater, and various others. Any one of them could do an excellent job on it, I think. Maybe Hor-Riff-ic would have the advantage since they have Satan riffing, so that opens up a lot of potential.

mswhatever

In no particular order:
1. Puppet Master Vs. Demonic Toys
2. Stephen King's IT
3. Wizard of OZ (probably cliche, but it needs to be done...)
4. Karate Kid (original)
5. Powder (an albino dork who brings deers back to life)
6. The Dark Crystal (oh it's asking for it)
7. Killer Klowns from Outer Space (i can't believe they haven't done this yet)
8. Black Christmas (the original)
9. An American Werewolf in London
10. Stephen King's Sleepwalkers (seriously, unexplained incest? really?)

Indeed. That movie was, and still is, high on my list of flicks I'd like to see Mike and the gang go after finally.
I think the guys who did GR also did Running Man, which while not great, was a better riff than GR was. But it has been a while since I've seen either.

10.  Gamer - need I say more
9.  Kick Ass - Kid in a green wet-suit fighting crime
8.  Michael Clayton - George Clooney can always be brought down a peg
7.  Street Fighter:  Legend of Chun Li - just a terrible movie
6.  The Bounty Hunter - A romantic comedy that was neither romantic nor comedic.
5.  The Hurt Locker - The most unrealistic realistic account of the Iraq war
4.  The Road - 2 hrs of watching hungry people run around in the fog
3.  The International - Failed to be entertaining in any way
2.  Drillbit Taylor - Owen Wilson as a homeless deserter saves high school nerds
1.  Paul Blart Mall Cop - So terribly ... everything.  For the love of God rip this one apart!

Hey guys,
Sorry if I missed it but has anyone suggested a riff for THE VISITOR? (1979 or is it 1980?)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080100/
I ask because it's finally coming to DVD. It's a wonderfully hilariously terrible movie with Mel Ferrer, John Huston (!), Glenn Ford (!!), Sam Peckinpah (!!!), Shelley Winters (I'm running out of exclamation points) and of course Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (??).

Written by the talent behind Beyond the Door and Piranha II: The Spawning (co writer on that one of course with some other guy).

It's great fun. I'm sure if MST3K had kept going they would've done it there, and I know it's not super well known so it may not be a hot item but trust me it's rife for riffing.
On DVD next month!

Sorry, this is probably the wrong thread for this, I'll repost. Gotta work on my own top 10 but it's hard to best some of the ones y'all have listed. As long as Meteor and 2012 are both on it
I stepped in trumpy dumpy.

My top 10 are:

1.  Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events  (just watching this is an unfortunate event)
2.  God Told Me To (Andy Kaufman was actually in this)
3.  Jack and the Beanstalk (Abbott and Costello version)
4.  Back to the Future
5.  Julie (a Doris Day horror movie? at least the opening music is happy)
6.  Midnight Lace (a second Doris Day horror movie attempt with the same results)
7.  The Vampire's Assistant (apparently Dr. Evil does movie crossovers)
8.  Teenage Space Vampires (logical, UFO's and vampires both fly after all)
9.  The Mystical Adventures of Billy Owens (yes before there was Harry Potter there was Billy Owens, who then stole the plot of Harry Potter and became a boy wizard in 2008)
10. The Neverending Story 2 (ah yes, the sequel....lower budget, lesser costumes, new less talented Atreyu, an anorexic Falcor, the Philadelphia Eagles mascot/villain, hell I think the new book was printed on recycled paper, yes after this painful performance thankfully the Neverending Story comes to an end...as does my list)

Ah but there was a third one...not that it really counts since I'm pretty sure it went direct to video and only like three people saw it.
