My poor beautiful thread, gone to bits....... much like my old Ikea table!

Next I will take up everyone's time with a thread devoted to my dying fridge......

It's not dying, it's just giving you the cold shoulder.
:D :D

Now off to order my Russian Mail Order Bride......
Go with Czech.  Better teeth, slightly less likely to be a schizophrenic murderer.
The Jalapeno chikas ain't half bad (until they 'widen' a bit on the sides :scared: )

Whatever happened to "Buy American"?   ;)

International trade benefits everyone (but use a condom anyway!).  :)

Well, the fridge is still working.   No lights in the "fridge" part (the freezer side is still lighted!) and I hear and odd sound coming from it now and then, but unless it total conks out, I will not call to the bullpen for a relief pitcher.

Okay, my crappy ikea kitchen table is falling apart and it cannot be fixed short of duck tape.  So today at work during lunch I logged on to www.gallery furniture.com , found a kitchen set I liked and it will be delivered Friday.   My female co-workers could not believe I would buy a kitchen set without seeing it in person.

So, is this a "woman thing" or do guys think I am nuts also?

I haven't read the entire thread (perhaps I should), but I wouldn't need to see it first. A picture (either in a catalog or on the internet) would probably be good enough for me. I'm not terribly fussy about furnishings.

you clearly have too high a view of target :P everything in most chain stores is cheap particle board and hardly as good a quality as that one, which is much more nomadic and customizable :D
