Well, I didn't care about the ad for Reefer Madness Live (though it did surprise me), but I was marginally disappointed there was no intro. At least not in the VoD version, which is what I bought. After all, Maniac had an intro....

There's no intro on the burn to DVD version I got either, but there's also no ad at the end, just the standard Rifftrax logo and legalese.

Planet of Dinos didn't have an intro, and Voodoo Man had a semi intro while they riffed on the opening credits, I guess Maniac was so short the intro was filler...

I'm with RVR II, I didn't learn a thing.   They took the life stories of 2 real people and turned it into movie of the week drivel...

OK, I did learn the guys are amazing, I wasn't sure what to expect from this one, and they did a great job, very funny riff.

Count me as another one irritated by the ad at the end.  Don't get me wrong, I already have my Rifftrax Live tickets and I'm trying to get everyone I know to join me that night.  But that's going to be over in a month and yet three years from now when I rewatch this riff I'm still going to have the stupid long out of date ad at the end.

Now, before you freak out, Thrashalla, I'm talking irritation with a lower case i.  It's not a big deal.  Big enough that I mention it once but I'm not over here rending my garments or anything.  it's all good, it was just a little irritating.

I learned Gina has a really fantastic rack.

Me too!  OMFG she was stacked!  I was very bored by the movie by that point but that perked me right up.  LMFAO
"Did she just say Chipping?"

I just watched the preview, but I learned that if you demand your girlfriend do dangerous stunts for your entertainment, then it is true love.

I should note that I plan on replacing the ad with the normal Rifftrax ending after the encore for the live show.

And totally in agreement about Gina. She was a total cutie all around IMO, not just the rack.

I said the phrase "Damn Gina" more than once throughout that movie.
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.

yep, and I say again. I am really sad I didn't have someone like that living next door when I was growing up. I may have spent a lot of time with binoculars at the window as well.

I learned that a bubble boy can go out of his bubble in a spacesuit, then go back into his bubble in the suit. Magically, the bubble will be uncontaminated by the trillions of germs crawling around on the outside of the suit.

I learned that the sweetest applause is the applause of pity.
Oh bite me, it's fun!

David Vetter himself actually commented on how ridiculous that scene was.

The intro on Maniac should not have been there and, as far as I know, it was the only time there has been an intro on a VOD/D2B file as, normally, there is no need to have syncing instructions on merged video.
(Sorry for delayed reaction, I just noticed that comment)

A little bird told me that if you do some searching on the internet you may just be able to get a better glimpse in a clip from one of her other movies.

Kenotic

I learned that a socially awkward teen will fall in love with a cute but emotionally manipulative and abusive person who will cause them to make monumentally stupid decisions, yet the scene will play like the person just did the smartest thing ever.

Actually, I first learned that from Twilight. This movie helped reiterate those points.

I also learned:

- Until the 00s came around, the 70s were easily the most cloying, mawkish decade on record.
- A whole lot of Tod's classroom antics could have been solved by simply moving his monitor to the back of the room.
- A great way to pad out the film is to put Tod in the hospital with a guy who talks about getting hookers, the clap, and becoming a hobo -- and then never talk about him again.
- Glynnis O'Connor probably broke the "Girl Next Door" mold at some point during the shooting of this.
- Even with Watergate, Gas lines, Misery indexes, and the Fall of Saigon, short yellow shorts may have been the most upsetting thing of the decade.
- Stalking someone will pay off (again, a lesson I first learned in Twilight).
- You can do a whole movie about a sequestered boy finally leaving his shell without using the words "John Travolta" and "is finally coming out" in a riff.
- Watching people kiss through a plastic sheet makes me even more angry that they canceled Pushing Daises.
I was a student at a small midwestern college....

At the risk of spoiling your crush, she used to be engaged to Robby "City Limits" Benson.  They met making a film.

I need to wait a bit and watch it again. Before it was available I read about the real person that it is based on and his sad life. So I had that running through my mind while watching.
