The Unabeefer's 2010 Em-Ess-Tee-Three-Kay-a-Thon

TheUnabeefer · February 06, 2010, 02:46:26 PM

Well they there folks! At the very start of the year, I decided to start myself a year-long MST3k-a-Thon (to be pronounced as in the thread title) and spent a whole day figuring out the best way to go about this without burning out or having to watch literally every single day.

So, every Monday through Thursday, I watch one episode per day... then I blogue about it the very next day on my personal website/blogue thingy. Which means every Tuesday through Friday, I write a short summary and most likely a complaint about the episode I viewed the prior evening. This wonderfully leaves three days of non-viewing and three days of non-bloggueing per week. Yes... I've thought this through far too much.

Anyways, I've just in the last week completed the KTMA season and moved on to season one(1)... My "season zero(0)" sum-ups were a bit short and non-descriptive at times, but they've begun to pick up as have the quality of the episodes.

Here I'll be posting links to my progress, starting with the first two(2) of season one(1) that I have completed already. If you really want to go back and read my KTMA posts, feel free, but I didn't bother much in the writing process, so I decided not to bother posting many links to them.

Enough long-windedness for today. Feel free to comment on the posts all you want. I've enabled comments on my blogue, and I don't believe you have to log in to anything to post one.

I've consolidated all the links into one post per season, starting with season one(1)... Keeps my thread from just being zillions of posts by me.

Good to know! (and no, I don't mind one bit. Post away!) I don't think that episode stands out a bit, excepting for the Kim Cattrall song and the fact that the episode gets lost in the shuffle... besides that, I can't think of any factors that make it really stick out much at all.

I enjoyed the episode though.

Sometimes I am sure my posts are a bit harsh on the crap-ness of things, but I really usually do appreciate the episodes and movies both for what they are and what went into 'em. I just like bitching about things!!

My old version of my website had a definition of the word "beef" as a verb on the front page... meaning "to complain" so my site is "The Unabeefer Beefs" for a reason... I complain a lot!!!
