Still, only 4 hours to go on the east coast!

It's opening on a Wednesday?  More of Lucas' tricks!

Is that the only toy that is LESS buff than the character it is based off of?

Even the toy manufacturers know what a flash-in-the-pan this really is - that's a body mold off the shelf they used.

BTW, don't know where the entries in the "FAQ"s come from on IMDB but if this is real....."Is this movie based on a book?"....then there is something dumber and more out of touch with reality than a Twi-Hard.....

:D

EDIT:  One reviewer's opinion....

QuoteI have to admit, I was disappointed with the latest installment of the Twilight  series. See, I went in hoping for something really, really bad; I mean bad like a Westboro Church protest or, I dunno, another season of Two and a Half Men. I wanted run out of the theater, fire up my computer, and tear into it like a fat kids tears into nachos. But, unfortunately, Eclipse isn't near that level of bad: it's just mildly bad, like a canker sore you keep fussing at or not having an iPad. Some parts of it are actually kind of good... Dear God, what's happening to me?

And I love this from Ebert....

QuoteMuch leads up to a scene in a tent on a mountaintop in the midst of a howling blizzard, when Bella's teeth start chattering. Obviously a job for the hot-blooded Jacob and not the cold-blooded Edward, and as Jacob embraces and warms her, he and Edward have a cloying cringe fest in which Edward admits that if Jacob were not a werewolf, he would probably like him, and then Jacob admits that if Edward were not a vampire — well, no, no, he couldn't. Come on, big guy. The two of you are making eye contact. Edward's been a confirmed bachelor for 109 years. Get in the brokeback spirit.

I think that question's just sort of a default for IMDB FAQ's. Basically every major movie has it in their FAQ section. If you think it's ridiculous in "Eclipse", seeing that question on the page for "Toy Story 3" is REALLY amusing.

Wow.....the trailer for Paranormal Activity 2 debuted in front of this film full of vampires and werewolves and this big bloody fight between them and the theaters have pulled it because the audiences found it "too scary"....

What a bunch of

Spoiler
Possibly NSFW.

Wait, people found a dog barking trailer to be "too scary"?    NOTHING in the first movie was the least bit scary and german sheppard barking does not fill me with terror.

I run a forum that has a cbox attached, and one of the members of my forum came in yesterday and gave this review:

QuoteHOLY FUCK, TWILIGHT: ECLIPSE WAS AMAZING!!! usually, being deluded is good for creativity. But this woman has managed to make something so incredibly deluded, on so many levels, (relationships being the biggest one, her right to the ridiculous license she takes with centuries of respectable vampire mythology a close second,) yet SOO INCREDIBLY BORING. It's so fucking terrible, I actually considered shitting my pants in the theatre just so I would have something more interesting, and less sickening, to focus on. the whole film, I kept imagining Iron Man busting in from the neighbouring theatre and fucking owning all these smelly dogs and prom-queen vampires.

Disappointed that we haven't heard from Chester yet.

I heard that this movie is a big step up from the last two movies, not like that's hard or anything. It's better directed for one thing, and he does the best with what he has. It is still not that good, but at least it is an improvement.

That's like saying this shit is disgusting, but it's better than the last one that was runny and green.

One of the Mods posted (in a New Moon thread, for some odd reason) after he and Mike and some others went that he thinks that the critics who are saying this is a "step up" were bought off.....that this one seems even worse than the other two.

I felt the same way, and then I clicked the link. I hadn't noticed that the baby wasn't moving outside of the reflection. Now I think I might shit my pants. Scary ghost babies apparently freak me out. Sweet dreams, me.

Still not scary.   Maybe in the sequel, their TV AND DVD player turn on and off at random.
