QuoteSome inspiring news out of the 3DNext Summit in Culver City this past Monday as The Wrap is reporting that Godzilla 3D producer Brian Rogers stepped up and made the following statement: " 'Clash of the Titans' is important here...because it made the industry realize that you cannot do substandard 3D and charge full pricing." He also noted how well Clash did at the box office, but it's nice to know that some people are more focused on providing a quality product. A+! Being produced by Legendary Pictures, the big green monster is still quite a ways a way from arriving in theaters as a writer hasn't even been hired. By the time this gets off the ground 3-D will either be dead or (hopefully) completely awesome.

Again...hate to play Devil's Advocate but....I still remember the special about the 1998 Godzilla hosted by Harry Shearer....Dean Devlin being interviewed and praising the Japanese edit of Gojira and how it "inspired" them in the making of their film.

Anyone see anything in their film that looked "inspired" at all?

Some of these guys are for real...but most of them will say anything.

David Arnold's score was certainly inspired.

Wow!! Godzilla in 2012. Great news. i enjoyed watching Godzilla in 1998, millions have. I hope nothing happens to earth in 2012, so that we all can watch the movie without a bit of fear in our minds. ;D ;D

QuoteThis article linked reveals that Burton is still attached to "Monsterpocalypse" and could 'possibly' even be in line for "Godzilla":

"C'mon, Boy!  Bring me the ball!"

It's a cool design and all but....it has no head to speak of....or neck.  It's like it just goes straight up from it's shoulders and then comes to a point.

Are there reptiles/dinosaurs that are built like that?

(I just remember how upset everyone was about the design of the NYC Godzilla)
