At the DFT's website.

Ahh....got you.   But then, if they had it I doubt they'd be announcing it before the Kino site would have it.

We're trying to figure out who could be showing it here.  I know in South Florida when Kino showed their first reconstruction of the film (the one that's on DVD now), it only played in the theater on the campus of the University of Miami....which was why we skipped it.  Horrible traffic there.

Possibly, mind you I've already been burnt by his promises that they'd be showing Katyn.

Well, so far all they've announced is showings in CA and NY....

Hoping they didn't think they had to set up a whole website just to announce such obvious venues.

Bob

Well, I think if it does not come to Houston, I know what to ask Santa for Christmas

No, not Elizabeth Banks, but this Blu-ray DVD.

Holy #@!&.....they've added a play date!

The Cleveland Museum of Art - May 21 - 23.  Admission $10

(well, it's some kind of progress...  ;))

TEA!!!!  They've added more dates and it's playing here in Denver!  And it's at a place near a rail station - in case I can't talk anyone else into going with me.   :D

Relaxing Dragon

I realize this is a stupid question, but could someone link me to the site that shows where this thing is playing? I can't find anything ("DFT's website" isn't really enough for me to go on).

Unless you're in Detroit that wouldn't be much help anyway.

You want the one run by Kino. :)

Having all the footage brings up new questions and arguments....and I think I finally saw one other blonde in the added footage of the workers.  So, Maria isn't the complete anomaly that she seems to be. Now if we could figure out where she got that dress when other woman is stuck wearing black wool....

The montage about Yoshiwara features pictures of women who are Asian and African American - which means that this city is not the whole world as some people have believed (those who call this a fable)?  Or did Metropolis cover the globe and suck up every other culture? But then, if the upper world is for the owners only and the depths are for the (all white) workers - where do they live?

And then there's the whole thing about the Fathers of Metropolis has built this for their sons and that for their sons....  Meanwhile, their daughters can just sit at home, I guess?  Or, they can always become dolled up whores at the Eternal Gardens.....   :P

Doctor Who?

You know by law anyone who has seen this before me is now my worst enemy. ;)

Search for "Metropolis Director's Cut" on YouTube.....

It's in pieces but it's something you can watch until it comes to town.
