THE QUEEN!!!

Transformers. Better the 2nd time. Quite hilarious. I especially love this: "So the message of this film is 'vroom vroom badow.'"  Brilliant and fitting of any Michael bay film.

HA!  I don't remember much from that 'trax (haven't watched it since it came out), but I totally remember that being my favorite line.   ;D

Christmas Toyshop on the Christmas Live Rifftrax DVD.  So this is a non-sensical silent cartoon being verbally recounted by a disinterested (and likely drunk) Santa in a dream being shared by two children. Kinda puts the  flashback within a flashback within a photo from HULK in perspective.

THE QUEEN!!!

New Moon and Harry Potter 4 again. Hilarious both. Favorite line from Harry Potter 4 is "I think it only fair to his memory that you know the true manner of Cedric's death: he was killed by a chubby buck toothed man holding an evil baby." Second favorite line is when you meet Cedric/Edward Cullen and they say. "AAAA!!! Undead!!! Quick---fall in love with it!!!"

I love that line, too. Especially since Dumbledore then says he was killed by Voldemort, which he wasn't.

To be fair, he was killed on Voldemort's orders so I don't think it would be wrong to say that Voldemort killed him even though he didn't pull the trigger (or point the wand in this case).

Empire Strikes Back  second viewing

Don't understand why this one seemed to get a lukewarm (get it....LUKE warm?) reception when it came out.  I loved it the first time and I loved it even more this time around. Big laughs throughout and my favorite of the Star Wars riffs.  Haven't seen Jedi yet however.

Yes, you could make that arguement, but it's still really funny.

And I just watched my new favorite short. MOLLY GROWS UP. I can't get over that one

Re-watched The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring last night - and just started on re-watching The Two Towers. So weird that Bill's first riff is "Or, if you're watching in Philadelphia, the Lord of the things our sports teams never win."

I watched the DVD of the Christmas live show over the weekend. Great stuff. I had forgotten how funny the "Ding-a-Lings" ad was. This morning I watched the newest short, Values and it was pretty good. Loved the Bill O'Reilly joke at the end.

I really need to watch a full length riff, I haven't watched one since Goblet of Fire.  I've still got quite a few I purchased during the March Madness sale that I haven't gotten around to watching yet, I might do some of them this weekend.

Ghost Rider

Really behind on my rifftrax presents so I thought I would finally delve into some of these trax by unknown riffers (unknown to me anyway).
My first experience with Blame Society.  I was not impressed.  I chuckled maybe three times through the whole trax. This one makes me hesitant to try Batman Forever or Tron or any of the other non Kevin & Mike presents trax.  Except for Cole and Janet.  Have only seen their first one so far (Dirty Dancing) but was very impressed and am looking forward to their others.  Maybe I'll stick with their riffs for now until I work up the nerve to try another unknown commodity.

I loved the Tron one, but apparently that was just me.
Blame Society's Running Man was pretty good too, but I haven't seen Ghost Rider yet.
And don't forget about Matthew Elliot!

Oh...you didn't. Try his Planet of the Apes one sometime.

I don't care for the Blame Society riffs either, but you should know that they are very different in style than the other Rifftrax Presents. Batman Forever in particular is good, as it is done by the That Guy With The Glasses guys (Nostalgia Critic, etc) who are hilarious.

Yeah, I'd place Ghost Rider at the bottom of the RP pile.  The riffing just never really clicked with me. Their other riffs (Star Wars and Running Man) were much more enjoyable.

okay, maybe Ghost Rider was the wrong one to start with.  Will give Batman Forever a shot and maybe give Blame Society one more shot with Running Man.
