Heard about this site which is... interesting to say the least.

Basically it's two guys, Dwayne and Bill.  Dwayne is a 400 pound whale of a human being, and Bill is a middle aged redneck conspiracy theorist.  Together, they solve crimes.

No, actually, they bitch incessantly about being single.  The entire thrust of the site is that they are, like many single men, in a state of True Forced Loneliness.  It's not at all their fault for being jerks with enormous chips on their shoulder and abrasive attitudes.  Nah.  It's the fault of the women of the world.

Anyway, it's pretty rampantly sexist, so some might find it offensive.  But it's an interesting study into the "Nice Guy" persona.

Wow that is really really tragic.

I know, right?

I'm single too, the last of seven children in my family not married.  It gets me down some times.  Right now I'm at a point in my life where I'm working a few goals for myself, and I don't want a relationship right now.  Still, I do get apprehensive that the single status will be with me my entire life, and I envy those in happy relationships.

These guys take that emotion up to eleven.  As though being single makes life unlivable.  That if they had a wife / girlfriend, everything would be perfect.  Me, I got hobbies, and I try to feel good enough about myself that if I were to find a nice woman, she'd complement me, not complete me.

I've been a lonely guy most of my life, then less than a year ago met a girl and we've been great together.  I've had days where I've felt something kind of like these guys and wondered what was wrong with me, but that usually ended when I'd mentally smack myself and say "just get over it, live your life, don't turn f-ing emo."

Worked out for me, these guys just need that little voice to wake them up.

Of course, the conspiracy theories don't help their cause.

Come on ladies, doesn't that just get you all hot?

It's that thousand yard stare of his, that's always top of the list of things about a man that women love.
