BTW.....kind of on topic.....

One of the other movies you can count on one hand where Shatner doesn't over act is on TCM tonight/this morning.....Incubus is showing Fri. April 30, 02:15 AM EDT.

Filmed in Esperanto it's subtitled.

Shatner's also pretty good in dual roles as twin brothers in White Comanche. (With Joseph Cotten!) He does indulge in a bit of overacting in that one, though...

:D Okay, maybe more than "a bit." I haven't seen it in a few years. I mostly remember thinking "Wow, this doesn't completely suck."

"Next time, don't eat the peyote."    ;)

Tripe

I used to have a sample  of his peyote line as the start up sound for my computer.

It might make a good ring tone come to think of it.

Again, who is Roger Corman?
Have you ever watched the MST episode The Undead? Roger Corman directed that (and several other MST movies). He made a whole company around making low budget movies for drive-ins and the like. Over his 50+ career his company has made many hundreds of movies, less than a dozen of which could be considered good (being generous). He made movies for the sake of making movies quickly and cheaply, with no regard to giving them the time and money for them to be any good (think of the guy in Tim Burton's Ed Wood who said "I don't make thoughtful movies about the human condition! I make crap!").  He has hired thousands of people over the 50+ years of his company, and a dozen or so have become famous (Jack Nicholson, Francis Ford Coppola, James Cameron, Joe Dante, Robert DeNiro, etc.). And for this he has an Oscar.  :P
