Dear Brigitte
NOOOO!!!  That's easily one of the most fun, light-hearted and profoundly quirky Jimmy Stewart movies ever.  Maybe his best color movie?  And it's OOP?  Sad.

I think most people would agree that Mr. Hobbs Takes A Vacation would be an excellent replacement.

Seen it.

Hi;
Didn't see "Saving Grace" 2000 on the list, co-written and starring Craig Ferguson,(Mr. Wick from " the Drew Carey show," and now the host of "the Late Late Show,") and Brenda Blethyn who plays "Grace."  Its a really funny and subtle film, basically "Half Baked" meets "the Full Monty"....

I make good words.

Sounds good to me.   I Ferguson and Blethyn, too.

1 down, 6 to go.

So no go on Body Slam?

May I suggest No Holds Barred (1989) (may also be OOP) or Ready To Rumble (2000) (should be OOP)?

Both films stink.

If you want to see a decent wrestling film, I'd suggest The One And Only (1978) starring Henry Winkler.

I have No Holds Barred.  Because I don't have to look for it, I'll add that one.

2 down, 5 to go.

You won't be disappointed.  (Actually you probably will be.)

For a bonus, see if you can find online somewhere the No Holds Barred match.  When the movie came out on PPV in late 1989, they had a special PPV event where they showed the movie and then a special pre-taped match with Hulk Hogan and Brutus Beefcake versus Randy Savage and Zeus (Tiny Lister) in a steel cage.

I think Hulk faced Zeus in a Wrestlemania match back in the 80s, too.  God, Zeus sucked.   :)

Yet, he was cool in The Fifth Element.

I hope you enjoy it. It does get a little formulaic toward the end but it's a very likable movie.

It's my unfortunate duty to drop some of the suggestions from the list due to their unavailability.  I'll accept replacement suggestions, but the following can't be used:

Stanley Cuba

There was a way of obtaining it, but I think it's no longer active. You're really not missing out on much though.

Yeah, I figured Raw Force would be hard to find. I'm still not sure how my local theater managed to secure a print. As for DVD, fuggetaboutit. Too bad though, it's a fun one. Cheerleading Ninjas, though, I know is on DVD, but that was more of a joke suggesiton and your life is better lived not watching it.

Replacements: Vigilante or Lady Terminator?

Yeah, Cheerleader Ninja seems to be readily available in the US, but not over here.  I think Lady Terminator might be easier to get, so I'll add that one.

3 down, 4 to go.

Hi,
I did a quick search and both of these movies are on Youtube in their entirety, not in a dozen parts either.

Raw Force: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXX8w0PJQUk
Cheerleader Ninjas: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6goqVxFkug

These appear to be the full uncut versions, ,meaning "Warning Contains Boobies and Cussing."
You had to sign in and verify age, so I hope it's OK to put the links in.  Its a new thing I guess full, legal, (and uncut) movies on Youtube, there's a whole bunch there.
