Welcome Sara. You're right, the Matrix and Phantom Mennace are quite extreme. But my suggestion for you would be to sample Battlefield Earth. That one has become my personal favorite. And if you one day find yourself a little tired then I might suggest Crossroads. It's not nearly as extreme as the others but it is still friggin hilarious.
Aaahh! This movie just throws you violently into the next scene!

sarcasm_made_Easy

yeah i second that, crossroads was absolutely one of my absolute favorites,  once you get over the embarressment of having to see crossroads its just ridiculous how much fun that one was.

Anyhue, welcome to the forums, so far it's been very pleasant and polite here amongst the other members, "and nary is heard a discouraging word..."  Though I can't speak as to whether or not the sky is cloudy all day.  I don't get out that much...  Oh, and here... *Gives p63 a Chocolate Bunny Guillotine, a Chiro-Gyro(Chiropractic Helmet), and a Cumber Bubble-bund...*

Enjoy!

Thanks!
Wow so now I'm Sarah?
I don't like the way that it's spelled.
It's not even.
5 letters?!
COME ON!
To end the confusion I will just be PirateGrl.

PirateGrl you will always be known as Sarah to me.

Maybe I should just be,
Sara the PirateGrl.
Keeps the Sara in there....
PirateSara?
Pssh idk.

sarcasm_made_Easy

i think you should tojo jijo just to really mess with us.

I disagree with the recommendations of others as to which one to watch first.  I think I have to recommend watching them in the order they were released.  Much like MST3K some of the jokes carry over from movie to movie.  I'd hate to have you miss something.  It's not that big of a deal,  just some of my friends watched them out of order and didn't understand some of the stuff.  It seems like Road House is a must.  Just my thoughts.

sarcasm_made_Easy

there is some truth to that, but then i like to think of that stuff as extra jokes you get on the second time around

PirateGrl

Hmm....
It is going to be a hard decision.

I say just go with The Grudge, it makes the horror movie completly hillarious and that is my absolute favorite as of right now.  But as im sure you can tell now that all of them will give you a laugh.

PirateGrl

Yeah I was actually thinking of renting The Grudge and then getting the riff for it.
I usually comentary on the scary ones myself actually lol

sarcasm_made_Easy

thats scary ones are ALWAYS the most rediculous.

Thom_Serveaux

much like some of the members here...

sarcasm_made_Easy

nah here its more accurate to say that rediculous ones are scary
