I'm actually more interested in what Nolan will do with the Superman reboot.

Perhaps a larger role for Zsasz.  He was kind of a cameo in Batman Begins, one of the gangsters had scars that look like tally marks, a reference to the killer who adds another notch to his body with every victim and now has a special spot reserved for Batman.  Maybe he was one of the Arkham escapees.  Might not be the best pick for a main villain, but maybe for an opening fight, kind of how Scarecrow was used in Dark Knight.

On Killer Crock, he always seems denoted as somewhat dimwitted, I think it would be great if he was played as the puppet of a much more powerful character.

I'm pretty sure you can see Zsasz as one of the escapees running amok towards the end of Batman Begins, so it's safe to assume he's still out there.

Fun fact: he was played by the lead singer of British band James, who we have to thank for the brilliant lyrics "She only comes when she's on top," from their minor hit "Laid."

He was sent to Arkham Asylum, but he escaped during Ra's al Ghul's attack on Gotham. According to one of the promotional websites for The Dark Knight, Zsasz is still at large. (http://www.thehahahatimes.com/issue2/page4.htm) Tim Booth also appeared as Zsasz in the Batman Begins video game.

I think I can only see Zsasz as a cameo, like Scare Crow in The Dark Knight.

I for one would be happy to ditch Bale.  His Bruce Wayne comes off as a jerk and he has given batman the stupidest voice in the history of movies.  Really I watched The Dark Knight a few weeks ago and I could not hold in the laughter every time he talked.  I really think they need to either force him to change the voice or leave.  That voice is turning Batman into as big a joke as he was after the Adam West series and Batman and Robin.  Really I hate to say it because the rest of the movies have been so good but on rewatching that voice has come verry close to sinking both of the last two movies for me.  Does anyone else feel this way or am I just a freak?

Actually, I believe the voice is an attempt to hide his speaking voice and sound aggressive. I read that somewhere but cant seem to conjure up the source.

I do have to admit, Bale's over-gruffed the voice a bit in TDK. It wasn't as bad in [/i]Begins[/i] - although there weren't as many scenes with Batman in Begins, so that might've been it.  I hope Nolan tells him to trim it back for the 3rd movie. Heck, Bale might trim it back himself, judging from the fact that it sounds like he's really straining his vocal cords whenever he uses it.

Going back to whoever said Robin Williams wouldn't work as Joker:

Also remember that movie was directed by Nolan, too, so he already knows how to get a great performance out of Williams.

Imagine if that laugh was actually Williams' after that line.

Might that have been the New York Times best seller, "You Couldn't Figure That Out Yourself?" by Captain Obvious? ::)

Bale should use his natural Welsh accent for Batman. That would through everybody off Bruce Wayne's trail. ;)

Nope, still don't see it.  Certainly not for the movie Nolan's doing.  And hey, in the right role Robin is good, but the performances here are relatively restrained for Williams, while Joker gives an actor the right to overact.  Williams doesn't do well with over acting.

Personally, I'm sure there are a lot of good Jokers out there, but no matter how good they are they are going to start with the deck stacked against them simply because they have to live up to a dead person.  Dead people have habits of becoming icons and an icon is both more and less than human and are harder to keep up with.  Then again, maybe I'm talking out of my ass.

Something that just popped in my head: I'd love to see the Joker with a green beard.
You want to see the Joker marry Poison Ivy?

Beard, not broad.  ;D

Check other definitions of 'beard'.

The woman as The Joker is easily the most disturbing thing I have ever seen.   :speechless:

Yet strangely enough, I wouldn't have been been too surprised to know that Heath Ledger's version was wearing the exact same things under the suit.
