UPDATE: The interview is now live on iTunes and on our blog.

So I just got off the phone with Tommy after finishing an interview with him for my podcast.

I won't give away too much (you'll have to listen in), but a few gems:

1) Three words: The Room 3D.

2) Tommy is writing a book on filmmaking, focusing on the difference between 35mm and HD video cameras.

3) The @TommyWiseau on Twitter is a fake.

4) He actually is a pretty okay guy IRL.

For more, you'll just have to listen to the next podcast, which we'll release on Feb. 23rd.

Oh, and I asked him what was up with the spoons.

DAMMIT WHY MUST YOU DESTROY EVERYTHING I HOLD DEAR IN THIS UNIVERSE?

I'd like to know how much money he's actually made from the success of The Room.

I'd like to know how much money he's actually made from the success of The Room.
Whatever it is, it's WAY too much.

I don't know if I agree.  Tommy created something that has given me, and tons of other people some sort of pleasure.  Yes, it's not being enjoyed how it was intended, but does that mean that he shouldn't get rich from it?  Penicillin was an accident that garnered Alexander Fleming awards and accolades.  I'm not saying that The Room is as significant as Penicillin, but maybe we should consider Tommy Wiseau for a Nobel Prize.

I knew it!  I was hesitating saying "Nobel Prize" because I knew someone would turn it into a political discussion.
Can't we just get beyond this Thunderdome?
