This makes me think of a serious horror film called Headless Eyes I saw on a show that aired on a local Fox affiliate. The basic premise was that the villain was a sculptor who at the beginning of the movie busts into a woman's apartment with the intent of raping and robbing her, but he's foiled when she gouges his eye out with a spoon. I guess this is after some time but the sculptor creates sculptures from gouging out the eyes of his victims with a spoon. One memorable scene I can recall is that the main character is trying to gouge out the eyes of a female corpse in a coffin. The detective or whatever he is that's the good guy attacks the bad guy with a shovel but gets knocked out by the sculptor wielding his spoon. It's a trippy, 60's/Early 70's movie I believe.

*Here's a review for you*

Being a genocidal maniac is not one of my turn ons.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?

Minnesota

Good production. A lot of effort went into that.

The South Park clip: hiLARious!

So, it's not because of The Room, itself really, it's that all those people wish Wiseau was in front of them that they throw spoons.  They want it to be as long and drawn out and painful as his movie is to the viewer.  I get it now.  It's not because of those framed pics, that's just a cover....

Though, if there is no spoon, could the spoon marks really exist?   (No spoons! *whistle*)

this won Rue Morgue's 2009 "Best Short Film" award.  it's great!  it's more original than any horror film in the last twenty years or so.

Putting on a heavy coat or an extra layer or two could have saved this man's life.

I have so many questions though:
1. What is the spooned killer's backstory?  How did he come to have such evil, murderous, homocidal intent using a breakfast cereal utensil? (I couldnt quite figure out how to work in a "cereal killer" pun there, so I left it alone.)  Perhaps this will be answered in a prequal movie after we have at least 4 un-asked-for sequels.
2. How does one come to be targeted by the masked spooner?  Does it involve eating a certain combination of Cheerios in concert with Raisin Bran and Rice Crispies to equal 666 calories and 13 grams of fiber?
3. Is this character affiliated with Death somehow?  Is he part of the legion of death, but because of a cosmic screw up, received a spoon instead of a sickle?  Now, he is the grim reaper that all of the other grim reapers make fun of?

A promotional tagline - "Two scoops of death...part of this complete death-fast!!!"

Didn't one of the Observers land in Minnesota or something after their planet blew up? Maybe it was him.

In the conclusion to The Deadly Bee's episode, the two Observers fueding with Brain Guy were defeated and were condemned to a life of working at a Wisconsin Dairy Cooperative and being raging Packers fans.
