Yeah, top 50 forum members doesn't seem too healthy a discussion.  Top wrestlers would be cool, but I know that not enough people would be able to contribute.  I went for guiltiest pleasures, but I can sense there might be some overlap between that and the previous list.

I have no doubt the intent of Top 50 board members is good, but the result may be that people feel bad that they are not respected enough if they don't make it, people will fall into weird clicks, the already contentious people will be given more reason to be upset.  Heck, it might be the first vote I choose to miss simply on principle.  You don't have a party with your friends and start ranking them do you.
