See, Williams' character had the perfect opportunity to grab the little prick by the scruff of the neck and dash his brains out against the corner of a desk. Such a missed opportunity.

CJones is my real name: Charles Allen Jones.

Sorry, I'm not clever when it comes to names. In my old RPG days I used to spend hours agonzing over what to name my characters, only to resort to names like Rambo and Merlin. Pathetic, I know.

And I've never much cared for avatars either, hence my lack of one.

I'm an old timer on GameFAQs (under the same username), if anyone here posts there. You can generally find me on the Classic Gaming board, particularly in the ongoing "What Game Was That" game. I also regularly post to the Cosmic Crisis board, aka the "unofficial" MST3K board.

Mine is purely nerd. I'm a big Star Trek: TNG fan, but enjoy some of the original series too, and by far my favorite epsiode is Mirror, Mirror. You may know it as The One With the Sparkly Sashes and Facial Hair. Anyway, Kirk's Skank of the Week Marlena refers to herself as a "captains woman". Were there such a thing involving Captain Picard, I'd be all over it.
I guess the name also represents just how unlikely it is I will ever have a chance at a normal relationship...

Don't worry, if I could find someone as geeky as me... so can you!

This is a fun little thread I never saw! I finally learned a bit more about the silly names my fellow compadres chose. I guess that means I have to explain mine now.

Its basically a shortened version of the scottish bagpiping word "Piobaireachd" a term for a particular style of music only pipers play (or listen to for that matter). You can probably guess why I chose that word. Its pronounced similar to "Pee-bore-echd" (with some added phlegm on the last syllable). I added "man" on the end for kicks. Oddly enough I play little to none of this type of music...

So then, Piobman is pronounced "Pee-Man"?

Sass

Started playing poker on PAO and won a monster hand.  Someone said it was "sassy" and the nickname stuck.  Thrilling stuff, I know :P
"You're gonna make this look better in post, right?"
"What the hell is post?  Keep flailing!!"

Wow.  I've been around the boards for awhile (and with RT since the very beginning) and I'm just now finding this thread... 3 years after it was cool!?  Haha.  Oh well.  Still, it's really great going back and reading the posts on here back when we were all so young and stupid.  I knew or figured out a few, but most were interesting.  THE QUEEN!!! is from my 2nd fave MST3k ep, and here I thought it was an Alice In Wonderland reference this whole time.

Mine goes back to my first email account.  I was 17 and wanted to order something off this new website called Amazon.com.  I tried my first and last name and every combination, but everything was taken, so I decided to use a fake name culled from my two biggest obsessions at the time:  Stanley Kubrick and Homer Simpson.  I've just used it as a handle on everything since, that way, if I don't remember if I've registered with a website, I can just try that.  Incidentally, I've also gone by lotf (my fave fiction book, Lord of the Flies) and, more recently, joshisprettycool (for, um, obvious reasons).  My dummy email addresses/usernames are simpsonstan, so if you ever find a simpsonstan on the board, know that that username has become sentient and is trying to destroy me.

If that should happen...

Drexlore

My name comes from some browser prite game. My friend and i were in the library after school and he was playing the game. He then said he came on his first boss a pirate called Drexlore. I decided that the name sounded cool and I have been using it ever since.

Rattrap007

Well seems i never posted mine..

Back when I first started on message boards when Transformers Beast Machines was getting ready to air, I joined the (then) only TF message board Bottalk.com. I needed a screen name. So I tried my favorite Beast Wars character Rattrap.. It was taken. At the time I was also a big James Bond fan. So since they are both spies added the 007 to Rattrap and created Rattrap007.
