I don't know him or his work ebough to judge, I just wanted an excuse to make a rudimentary lathe refference.
Yeah, it's been awhile since it's use in a 20 questions.

TTYT

Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb from X-Play, if there's any video game movie riffs coming up..., Them, or get the guy from X-Play who did that hilarious Stan Lee impression for the next comic book movie...

What about ESPN.com's Bill Simmons?

A few reasons being

- He's mentioned in a few columns that he's an MST3K fan

- He has a big following, probably the most popular writer on espn.com which is saying something. But he also would probably be an easy get. So

that's doubly good for business purposes

- He talks about movies almost more than sports in his columns

- He's a really funny writer. Well..... I think so anyway

- He does a frequent podcast so he'll be comfortable behind the mic.

- There's a ready made cache of movies he could possibly do. (The Karate Kid movies, Hoosiers, the Rocky movies, etc)

Just seems like a logical choice.

I had never heard of Bill Simmons before so I checked out his page on ESPN.com, the podcast was pretty awful, he spent 5 minutes talking about the Real World so I had to turn it off. Next I clicked an article about the New England Patrioits, dude is a great writer. I think as long as BS does a Rifftrax of a sports related movie he'd do great... his tastes in pop culture television... not so much. My choice for first sports movie would be Mystery Alaska, man I'd love to see that one Rifftrax'd.
Anyway, chalk up another vote for Bill Simmons from me.

Bill Simmons would be a great choice.  Outside of his love of the Real World his podcasts are actually pretty good - check out the podcasts for 9/23 and 9/24 - a two part free wheeling discussion with Matt Stone.

I'm sure this has been mentioned before (I'm too lazy to read through all 20 pages of this topic), but...

Trace Beaulieu

Okay, bear with me. A redo of This Island Earth (in its entirety this time) has been suggested on the Suggest-A-Trax board, and if that ever came to pass, that would be the perfect opporunity to bring back Trace. Yes, I know he's busy doing Cinematic Titanic (and I wish him nothing but success in that), but if Mary Jo can find the time to do Rifftrax, he certainly can. Trace played Crow in MST3K:The Movie, but the actual movie they used (This Island Earth) was utterly butchered. A remake is totally due, but it just wouldn't be right without Trace.

Ever since I got into Rifftrax, I've been wishing for dueling Crows. ie a Rifftrax with both Bill and Trace.

Mary Jo's done two.  One before CT started, and one after.

The second one was a Rifftrax Presents of X-Files Fight the Future with Bill.

Heartily recommend that one, by the way.

Have they asked Conan yet, now that he lives nearby...?

I believe this would be impossible, but it would be awesome: Christopher Lee

If his voice and everything else he's done isn't proof enough of his awesomeness,
watch this clip from this superhero parody he did:

Holy crap!  What was that clip from?

I doubt it would ever happen, but I  too would love to hear Christopher Lee do a commentary track for anything (Rifftrax or otherwise).
My dream riffer: Vincent Price.  Ultimate fantasy Rifftrax: Vincent Price with Peter Lorre.

You want dead people to riff?  I don't think that's within the power of Rifftrax.
