He said they were doing one without Kevin. Maybe they are riffing Blood Hook. It was directed by Jim Mallon, but doesn't it have Kevin in it?

They haven't done a TV pilot in a while... just saying.
Meh.. Those aren't my choice, plus they're a bit more difficult to re-author if available.. :-\

I'd still really like to see them take on Mad Men.

Every year, around this time, I start guessing and hoping for the same movie.

So once again, my guess is:

It's already in the box set that everyone bought for the Nestor Rifftrax!  (Well, at least I bought that box set.  Others did too, I'm sure.)

...

Yeah, that would be cool. I didn't buy a boxset, but the Nestor disc had a bunch of other Christmas shorts on it. Although, i'm not sure if Christmas In July was one fo 'em.

They haven't really been doing many holiday type releases for a good while though.  Nothing for Halloween, Christmas, Guy Fawkes Day...

Well, it should be a Rifftrax released in July, then.

The other two are Rudolph's Shiny New Year and Year Without a Santa Claus.  Both are hallucinatory masterpieces of strangeness.  I'd be happy if it was one of those.
I thought I was Dale.

Maybe something like ..

Frothy, the Rabid Taxidermy Snow Dog would put the guys in the mood :P

Christmas In July is a feature length 90 minutes, so It's not likely on the other Nestor DVD.  I figured it would be perfect for Rifftrax, they could riff on the classic characters without having to riff on the classic original TV specials.

This one could easily be a classic Rifftrax, as funny as the Star Wars Christmas Special Rifftrax.

90 MINUTES?! I love Rankin Bass and all, but...damn!

(And it should be a July Rifftrax, anyway)

I saw that one. The slutty Taxidermist's daughter (voiced by Carol Channing) who slept with Heat Miser AND Snow Miser was the best part.
