I've seen a couple of Jodorowsky movies, but not those two.  He's actually made surprisingly few.  I think I may also have seen Godzilla at some point, but I'll add it anyway.

THE QUEEN!!!

Okay, Mr B, I had all these great ideas, and now I forgot most of them. Here's what I can remember:

Lili (with Leslie Caron)
The Miracle of Morgan's Creek
American Madness
Blackmail (Hitchcock)

Shocked not to see these on your list so here they are on this list:
The Miracle Worker
Lillies of the Field

WIll think of more................
"Kissing is like WiFi. Just get within the general area." ---New Moon RT

Johnny Unusual

The Wrong Guy
(in case there are other movies with that name, the one with Dave Foley)

Castle of Cogliostro

The Tenant

Do the Right Thing

Demons

The Devils (1971)
dir Ken Russell
st Vanessa Redgrave & Oliver Reed

This film is so controversial that to this day Warner Brothers refuses to release it on DVD. No original director's cut currently exists, but the restoration and release of this film have been in the works for some time. It is, however, quite easy to find a copy online via torrent. I have a great quality copy that is almost completely uncut and will supply you with it if you can't otherwise find it.

OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies (2006)
dir Michel Hazanavicius
st Jean Dujardin
French w/ subtitles

See my review in this forum

In the Realm of the Senses [Ai no Korida] (1976)
dir Nagisa Oshima
st Eiko Matsuda & Tatsuya Fuji
Japanese w/ subtitles

Not at all for the squeamish. Availability like that of The Devils, above (i.e. no DVD, release pending. Very easy to find via torrent. I have a copy)

Putney Swope (1969)
dir Robert Downey Sr.
st Arnold Johnson

Tokyo Decadence
(1992)
dir Ryu Murakami
st Miho Nikaido
Japanese w/ subtitles

High and Low [Tengoku to Jigoku] (1963)
dir Akira Kurosawa
st Toshiro Mifune
Japanese w/ subtitles

El Topo
(1970)
dir & st Alejandro Jodorowsky
Spanish w/ subtitles

The Holy Mountain (1973)
dir Alejandro Jodorowsky
st Horacio Salinas & Alejandro Jodorowsky
Spanish w/ subtitles

I still need to see this one myself. I may take you up on that torrent offer as well.

Okay, I finally have something "good". Well, at least something I liked. Also, it's something that might be of interest to this community, since it may have been one of the inspirations for MST3K. Watch What's Up Tiger Lily.
QuoteWhat's Up Tiger Lily?, a 1966 comedy film, is the first film directed by Woody Allen, who also wrote and appeared in it. Allen took International Secret Police: A Barrel of Gunpowder and International Secret Police: Key of Keys, two in a series of Japanese spy films and overdubbed them with completely original dialogue that had nothing to do with the plot of the original films. By putting in new scenes and rearranging the order of existing scenes, he completely changed the tone of the films from a James Bond clone into a comedy about the search for the world's best egg salad recipe.

It can be pretty slow at times, but I still liked it.

Crap. I really do want to suggest a good movie, but nothing seems to come to mind.

Demons (horror movie set in a cinema?).

That's the one.  The director had a vision: guy rides up an down the movie aisles slashes demons with a katana.  And he made it happen.

I actually really enjoyed that movie.  The sequel is shit, though.  The first one made the mistake of killing off too many of the survivors, so I don't think any of the original cast came back.

Umm....is that like that old joke, "A plane crashed in the ocean. Where were the survivors buried?"?

:D

You're right, it does sound a little weird.  :)  What I mean is that in the film a group of people escape the cinema after the initial outbreak, but they're whittled down pretty quickly afterwards and a twist ending seals the fate of the rest.
