Who's going to see the Rifftrax Live Encore?

I haven't seen anybody comment on it here. I loved the live event, and plan on going back Thursday. Who else here on the forums will?

I'm hoping to, but not sure yet.  I requested the night off work well in advance to go to the live show, ended up taking a long weekend with some of my vacation days, but I didn't request anything for this week.  If I went to the show I'd have to leave early or show up to work late...and that might actually work out.  Seeing as how two shifts in a row I've left late and have worked two hours more than I was scheduled, and the evil Wal-Mart empire doesn't let overtime go unpunished, I need to trim my remaining shifts this week to slip under 40 hours.  I'm going to ask tonight if I can cut my time on Thursday, if the answer is yes, hello encore.

I will probably go see it. I am looking forward to laughing my butt off again. I have to be careful though because the doctors said if my butt comes off again they may not be able to successfully reattach it this time.

Getting a specific day off from work can be a lot of trouble, thanks to some of my managers. Telling them more than three weeks in advance doesn't seem to help nearly as much as it should.  Nonetheless, I have managed this and I will be going to the show with a few friends.

I was thinking about going again but it is only playing at a theater I really don't like going to (old uncomfortable seats etc).

It's certainly tempting, though this time I'm going to see if I can find anyone to go with me. If not, I may en up sitting this one out.

Is it the movie and short and all that stuff in between, or just the movie?

I assume it will be everything from Aug. 20th.

Both people I want to take (seperately of course, cuz a date with two girls is like a horrible episode of Saved By The Bell) are sick...  maybe I'll ask the girl who lives next door to me.  She went to the last showing, maybe she'll be up to go again.

When they rebroadcast it last month in a few theaters it was the exact same thing (even down to having a few glitches!)

I probably won't be going for a 3rd time.  I'm elbows deep in a video project with a deadline of Friday night.

BTW why does the encore have to also be on a Thursday night? If you want to attract a mainstream audience why not a Friday or Saturday night instead?

I think that was covered in another thread.  If I remember correctly it's up to Fathom or something.  The 2nd time I saw the show it was on a Wed. I think.

Because it is an off night for theaters and that is when they are willing to show these types of programs.
