If it's any consolation, he fervently regrets doing this movie. He probably was a Star Trek fan, and figured that this was his closest chance to be able to play a Klingon, but once Travolta started doing his Shakespeare voice, Forest said, in the words of Gob Bluth, "I've made a huge mistake." ;)

Let's face it, this is a shame-fest of epic proportions. I'll pardon Forest, and even Barry Pepper; Travolta needed to go down in flames after this one...

Kelly Preston too. Her line of dialogue was very very hard on the ears.

What, "babies eating Barugon" didn't make sense to you?

And that's why "karma" made him bonk his head on the bulkhead.

I think that's the mischievous look of a 50 year old man who's just farted in his neighbor's pool.

His initial reaction to scientology before being hooked up to the knowledge machine.

I actually just reauthored this bad boy today. I thought it was great, the movie itself is so horrible that it barely needs any riffing to be a joke. In fact, as i type, there are three girls in my living room cackling away at the damned thing. I think there's a thread somewhere about who has the most annoying laugh? Try these three! Anyway, i tried to sit in and watch it again, but it's just too much... even with the riffing. Twice in one day?! I wanna' rip my eyes out...

Battlefield Earth = Sucks. The amazing Rifftrax makes it just slightly more bareable~

That picture is so uncalled for, why would you even look something like that up!?

Battlefield Earth was enough...

First viewing of this movie in a long time. Yea, it's a pretty awful sci-fi movie but I didn't find it too terrbily painful to sit through. Maybe I was distracted by all the quick cuts and wacky camera angles. Whatever the reason, this one seemed to go down relatively smooth. I truly believe this would have just been forgotten as another sci-fi flop, ala Chronicles of Riddick or something, if it was attached to your average pulp sci-fi hack and not a pulp sci-fi hack that started his own worldwide cult.

As far as the rifftrax, it was pretty solid throughout. It's not going to break into my top 5, but it was great to hear the three Sci-Fi MST guys together again. The Disembaudio laugh track was a brilliant touch as well. I was consistently chuckling throughout although this one didn't deliver as many big belly laughs as I hoped with all three riffers together. Maybe Daredevil will be better in that regard.
