Right then:

Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles is the third, and probably final, film in the series, and having really enjoyed the past 2, I'm surprised at myself at not watching this one sooner.  Living with his wife and son in the outback, they move to LA where she takes a job as a newspaper editor and gets caught up in some intrigue about some suspected smugglers using a movie studio to hide their activities.  Cue Mick to become a movie extra and seek out the truth.  My first thoughts about the movie were - "Jeez, they don't make movies like this anymore" with its fish-out-of-water theme and curiously dated pop culture references, it feels like the movie could've been made at any time in the past 30 years.  Despite this, I actually found myself enjoying the movie.  Probably because I like Paul Hogan in pretty much anything - yeah, even Lightning Jack - and his wrinkly charm is what carries the movie.  They don't make them like this anymore, which is probably a shame.

This movie exists?!?  lol

Are you still taking recommendations? Here's one fantastic movie that no one seems to have seen:

A NEW LEAF starring Walter Matthau and Elaine May

(hint: it's only on VHS, not on DVD yet).

I have it.  :)

Do you mean you've seen it already? You are a rare man of rare taste.

Long as were getting into over the top satires...

How about Hysterical with The Hudson Brothers...(difficult but not impossible to find)?

Or Repossessed with Leslie Nielsen (before he REALLY started mugging) and Linda Blair...?

And that can be watched on YouTube.

And if someone would just release Americathon...(c'mon Legend....make a two-fer of this and Hysterical)

Probably another movie that is suffering because of music rights....but wouldn't it be worth it to see Jay Leno beat up by an old woman?

Hey, I won a radio trivia contest thanks to Americathon once. I won a copy of The Dish, IIRC.

Babette's Feast

These I'll add.  The others I've seen.

Okay.  I think I'm going to put a cap on the suggestions for a little while.  At least until I get the list down a little.  I've seen 14 of the list, but there's 54 more to do!

I'm also going to have to remove 2 titles because of their complete unavailability: Vampire Dentist and Twilight of the Cockroaches. I will accept 2 replacement suggestions from the people who made these though.

Sorry about Twilight of the Cockroaches. One day, I'll rip my laserdisc copy to the computer.

Hey no problem.  Thanks to everyone who made suggestions.  It gives me some short-term goals in pursuit of the long-term one.  :)

Plastic Self-Cleaning Duck

Speaking of "the stuff" :)

The Stuff is horror/comedy with a little satire thrown in for good measure about a mysterious food product that hits the market called The Stuff and is an instant smash hit with the public, who seem to crave it a little too much...  Investigating the company behind the Stuff is a slightly shady industrial saboteur, whose motivations change when he sees the final result of prolonged ingestion of The Stuff.  There are some good things about the movie: I particularly liked Michael Moriarty as the "hero" and the use of budget special effects were quite imaginative.  However, there are also a bunch of problems: there's a family sub-plot that doesn't really go anywhere interesting, character relationships are contrived and unbelievable, and it ends in a whimper.  Larry Cohen's made better movies than this.

Welcome to Woop Woop is a strange Australian comedy about an American con-artist who is basically shanghaied into marriage and kept prisoner in a closed society of about 50 people in the middle of the Australian outback, overseen by the totalitarian glare of Daddy-O (Rod Taylor, practically unrecognisable).  The settlement itself is a ramshackle collection of buildings and vehicles, and have the air of Mad Max about them, especially in some of the half-sane personalities involved, but it's nicely realised, and has some fun performances from the people involved.
