Found this through imdb.com - and there's others saying the same thing (although not the "sadly" part).

"Los Angeles, California (X17online) - Sadly, Warner Brothers has shot down reports that Megan Fox will be cast as Catwoman in the third installment of the Batman franchise. "It's rumor. It's not true," says a representative for the studio. "There is no script. There is no project to be cast in." "

Yeah, SADLY?!

Actually, maybe Nolan could hire Megan Fox for Catwoman and have her beaten with less than a minute of screen time. And no dialog, of sourse.(Unfortunatlely that would only piss off the comic fans who mistake bust size for character development.)

Ooh, even better, have Harley kick her ass. While I like the Catwoman character, she's been done to death. I want something a little more fresh.

I bet this is just smoke and mirrors. I's read more founded rumors that the next villain will be The Riddler and that Johnny Depp was in consideration.
Being a genocidal maniac is not one of my turn ons.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?

Bad news. Rumor has it that the next Nolan Batman villain is Catwoman. Megan Fox, as Catwoman:

Yeah, that's the way to top Heath Ledger's performance as Joker. With Megan Fox... as Catwoman.

From the article

"According to British tabloid The Sun, 23-year-old Fox will step into the famous PVC catsuit to join Christian Bale and Michael Caine when filming begins next year."

Notice the bold, The Sun is the same publication that said Cher would star as Catwoman, with Shia LeBeouf as Robin. Do you think these people have any credibility?

Tripe

The Sun is simply hoping Fox might agree to appear just inside the front cover...

Um....more likely Pleather.  And it's only been that once.

And I don't know that Catwoman's been "done to death" any more than the other villians.  Just keeping my fingers crossed that they keep it one villian at a time.

Doctor Who?

Well I don't think there will be one villain.  Batman begins had three, and The Dark Knight had three so I think we will get at least two in the  next movie.  I think it's a shame Nolan has said no Robin because I would really like to see Robin done right.  They were able to put him in BTAS with out hurting the series I don't see why it couldn't work for a movie.

I'd be interested in seeing Nolan's take on The Riddler.  He's always been depicted as a mischevious prankster, and I think he could be so much more.  He's also perhaps the second biggest villain after The Joker.

Doctor Who?

I'm just not sure what they would do with The Riddler that hasn't been done with Joker.  All and all I am starting to think that there may be nowhere for them to go after TDK and maybe they should just let the franchise die rather then run it into the ground.

I still think some variation on King Tut would work within the Nolan version of Gotham.

It'll be a hard row to hoe to find another actor who can match (or at least do justice to) Ledger's performance.

I'm just throwing this out there.....what do you guys think of Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a replacement for Heath Ledger?

I haven't seen GI Joe, so I don't know how he was in that, but I thought that Brick was one of the best movies in a while.

Doctor Who?

Maybe she will show up and get beaten to death in the first two minutes and then we can get on with the real movie.

Yeah I've heard that suggested before and I think he could be quite good in it. I'd not hold his (or any of the cast's*) performance in GI Joe: Norwegian Wood against him.

* OK you can hold Sienna Miller's against her if you like.

It's too bad Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy were ruined with Batman and Robin. I've always thought Freis was a really interesting character. Especially how he was done in TAS and Beyond.

Doctor Who?

I have a feeling they are both too Sci-Fi for this universe, still when the franchise is rebooted again in 15 years it will not be so poo faced and we will get to see them done right.
