I know it was just last Thursday, but any info on a rebroadcast  or a DVD of the performance?

I know some theaters are showing it on Sept 2. Don't know where though.

Soon as we have the info, we'll post it.

It looks like theaters that are part of the National Amusements Chain are getting it on Wed. Sept. 2

http://www.nationalamusements.com/

They use movietickets.com for their online ticketing. Do a search for your zip code on Sept. 2

It is going to be at the theater I wish it was at in the first place here in the Boston area so I might be going again.

Randolph is showing it??? Shoot.  I might be going again too.  Maybe I can convince the wife to come along this time around if we can get my parents to watch the kids.

Yeah I just gotta check my work schedule and see if I have that night off.  It is even a Lux Level Screen so it is going to be way bigger than the one we saw before.

Hm.  The Lux Level seats are kinda tempting...

That is such a cop out.  Waiting till you have correct information... release dates, lists of what included, even a sneak peak of the cover art.

How dare you give me accurate information?!?  I want wild speculation, and I want it now!

Wild speculation, eh?

The DVD will include additional audio commentary by the late Ed Wood, mocking the riffers.

Meh.  They announced that the night of the show.  I want  better info.

I would like to go on record and say that as much as I loved the live Plan 9, I wouldn't buy a DVD of the live show. There's just too much overlap with the one I already have.

As for wild speculation, the live DVD won't be out for several months because it will have to be heavily edited due to what's being called "wardrobe malfunction" (*cough Kevin's pants)

Came down with a case of hay fever
He sneezed with such might
That his body took flight
And knocked out a golden retriever."

Well, if it has all the Extras, that would help lean me more to buying it even though I have the Mike solo, and the 3 Riffer edition :-\

My kids and I want a DVD of this whole broadcast! I think it makes a difference with the live audience (even the recorded live audience--we saw it again at the rebroadcast where there wasn't nearly the crowd as the live one) and the occasional visual insets of the comedians. I really think this is what we need to get the rest of our friends into all this--we love RiffTrax, but our friends just don't seem to "get" it. I think it's more accessible as a comedy routine with those visuals! Plus, we've never laughed so hard for so long in our lives. Please, PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE?!

As promised, here's the info: http://www.ncm.com/Fathom/Comedy/RiffTrax_Encore.aspx

Thursday night. Oct. 8th. 7:30pm. All timezones.

I think it's $10 this time too instead of $12.50.
