Nice cover. Although, shouldn't there be silhouettes of Bill and Kevin's head as well?

I wish your template allowed Johnny to have a bubble saying, "Oh, hi Rifftrax."

I always thought it was funny that the standard Mike silhouette (used in the Rhino releases and elsewhere) is with his arm up, even though one of the major differences between him and Joel is that he didn't interact with the screen like Joel did.

Pretty simple cover... but I did my best to make the cover more pleasing than the actual movie.

I cannot wait to see the rest of the covers.

Since I have a 300 DVD changer (so the film cases never get actually pulled out of the cabinet), I don't generally print RiffTraxed covers for the DVDs.

For THIS film?  I'll make an exception.  God knows I wouldn't want even a burglar stealing my DVDs to think I actually bought this film because I liked it!

You could always put a Rifftrax sticker on the original DVD box until you get the Rifftrax cover printed.

That sounds kinda cool.  Where'd you get it?  What kind is it?  How much does something like that cost?

I had one, but it wasn't quite up to snuff, so I had Lisa tear it apart.

It's a Pioneer DV-F727.  I got it through a place called Direct Buy (that allows purchase direct from manufacturers with no real middleman and usually significant discounting * ), but it's available through other sources.  I just did a Google search and found a bunch of links.  With the CNet link from that search it turned up as ranging from $489-675 in the places online (I'd go with the lower one, personally  ;) ).

The first DV-F727 I had I moved into the bedroom, so I can play 'less favorite' MST episodes just before sleeping (i.e. 'ones that won't keep me laughing so hard I can't get to sleep, but which will still allow me to go to sleep with a smile).  I've actually had that one for something around 10 years and its still working fine.

Hope that helps.  :)

*  With Direct Buy, there's a pricey initial membership fee when you first join, but depending what you buy, you can EASILY save that much and a LOT more in a short time.  Then it's a limited yearly cost to stay a member.  I also bought my superb Infinity speaker system through them (making them affordable).  They also have furniture, house repair/upgrade stuff, and much more.  With the exception of a brief period after my divorce (the ex got 'custody' of the membership  >:( so I had to rejoin) I've been a Direct Buy member for 27 years!  Particularly in this economy, it REALLY allows one to stretch their finances.

Oh, hai!

It's been a while since I've done some covers, but here's a pair.

Here's the regular cover:

And, because I'm out of color ink, here's a very, very basic cover:
