BELIEVE THE REVIEWS, PEOPLE.

To call this movie a "dog" would be to unfairly libel innocent canines everywhere.

You only have yourself to blame if you're retarded enough to go see Epic Movie AFTER the horrible ads, the reviews, and the trailer.

Yeah, I have no intention of seeing this. It seems like, these days, the Wayans Bros. label is more of a warning than an incentive to watch. They're going for quantity over quality, I guess.

I don't think there is a Wayans in sight in this flick. Although Crispin Glover as Willy Wonka might be funny.

I just know it's going to be released the week I'm stuck with previewing the crap movies.

My best friend has an eleven-year-old who was dying to see it. Rather than have her spend money on it, I elected to take one for the team and bring them, free of charge, to the theatre where I work.

There hasn't been a Wayans involved in these "spoof" movies since Scary Movie 3, and even that was only in an acting capacity.

Phantom of Krankor

One thing I don't get is what on earth Borat and Nacho Libre are doing in this movie. I wouldn't really call those movie epics. I have a feeling they're just throwing those in for some cheap laughs.
I am Ambassador Phantom, from the planet Krankor! I am rapidly approaching your planet... in the warship, which you have just seen. I will arrive tomorrow night at precisely eight o'clock. At that time I shall make my wishes known to you. You will obey them... or die! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!

Aaron Haynes

They played one of the teasers an average of every four minutes at the movie theater I worked during the holidays. I can recite every line from it with the exact same inflection and timing, and I will never forget it for as long as I live.

It looks horrible, which doesn't alleviate any of the hatred I already have for it.

Every laugh they attempt to get in this movie is impossibly cheap.

Oh yeah I forgot, it was from "2 of the 6 writers." I love how they keep saying that like it's a GOOD thing to advertise. It doesn't question the quality of the material at all.

Date Movie, Epic Movie, Scary Movie. Just come out with all of them in a big box set and call it "Shitty Movie."

*Whispers* Am I the only one who thought the trailer looked funny? *Hides*

Of course, it probably helps that I've never actually SEEN any of the Wayans brothers movies. Also that I've only seen the trailer a couple of times. I just enjoyed seeing some of the movies get a poke in the eye (literally, in Superman's case :) ).

Through Date Movie, I'm convinced that Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer are five-year-olds. Seriously.
This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

I'm pretty embarrassed to be an American right now. This week, Epic Movie has turned up as the number 1 movie at the box office. Last week, Stomp the Yard was number 1. Oy Gavalt.
