Oh, dear God no! Not here in Dallas! Why Dallas, God, why?

Fuzzy Necromancer

It doesn't affect me one way or another. Events never come calling around my neck of the woods.

Dallas was decimated by Scud missiles that day...

Lucky . . .

Yeah, it seems like that now, but I've also missed out on every single Cinematic Titanic and Rifftrax live riffing event. >_>

It is a mixed blessing.

Yeah, well, at $40 for balcony tickets for the CT event coming here, I don't know if I'm any better off. It just taunts me knowing that they'll be there, but my unemployed ass can't afford the tickets.

The Almighty was going to punish you eventually.

Wait a minute, Billy Burke? No, Billy, NO! RUN AWAY!
Dammit, Maverick! Why don't you play by the rules?!

"Joel, what's a Harringway?"
"About a pound."

Dare you to rig up a loudspeaker and broadcast the "Twilight" RiffTrax throughout the hotel.

Wow, look at the great band they got to play there!

The Bella Cullen Project

Chandler, Ally, and Tori make up the band from Arlington, TX that plays songs inspired by the Twilight saga. The Bella Cullen Project released their first album in July of 2008, and has attracted the attention of MTV and Stephenie Meyer herself.

Man, I would love to see Henry Rollins beat the shit out them live onstage!

Now if they did a cover of The Rifftones "Sparkly Vampires", THEN I'll be impressed.

Otherwise, I say nuke the site from orbit. Only way to be sure.

I'd like to see Alyson Hannigan eat them.

Oh my god!  Has anybody looked at the price to attend this nonsense?!  255 freaking dollars per person, not to mention 139 per night for the room.  For all that coin you get to meet some of the insignificant peripheral characters and attend panels to discuss "the properties of venom".   :scared:

And they're going to sell out, God help them.

$255 is practically outright theft, no convention should ever cost that much (shoot, I've always felt that close to $100 was really pushing it). And regrettably, Trumpy is probably right; it'll sell right out, and they'll do this again next year. /sigh
