Ditto.  I can't even imagine how technically difficult something like this is, so it was a noble effort.  You don't know how it's going to work out until you try something like this.

It is a shame that you all were 'called in to work' on a Friday and then this happened.

Many thanks to Mike, Kevin and Bill, and ALL of you behind-the-scenes people for trying.  It IS appreciated (by those of us with souls... which doesn't include - apparently - some of those who are twittering on the Ustream site   ).

Take care, guys.  The effort (and the short) are appreciated.



A thought: if the problem was from amount of traffic (or even a hardware problem), there are a LOT of dedicated forum users here.  You could do a test in the future and just ask us to try to sign on to see how the connection maintains.  i.e. set a time and date for a test, and those of us available could go there and you could show - well - pretty much anything (maybe part of a pre-release of a new short) and see if the system holds up to the traffic.
