What food do I serve at my Twilight Riff party?

I was going to say, "Italiano."  ;D That kitchen conversation is probably the lamest conversation in the whole movie, and that's saying something. We've got these brilliant vampires who have matriculated (riffers: "HAHAHAHAHA!!") numerous times, and they think you can't like "Italiano" unless you're Italian? Seriously?

I would think any sort of large vegetarian spread would make sense (unless you go more for the "meta" joke of ham/bacon/etc.). Perhaps a freshly taken-down deer? Apparently Emmett hunts bears. But if we're just going for the theme of the movie, I'd say Vitamin R & veggie burgers/mushroom pasta.

(Also, I have a friend who's read the books who says Bella ISN'T veg in the books ... apparently she's cooking & eating steak & potatoes all the time w/Charlie. I can't confirm this, but it seems something the movie definitely got better than the books).

But definitely vitamin R (Ranier beer) or some sort of alcoholic beverage, I think, with which to play any of the NUMEROUS drinking games available with Twilight (I think my favorite is taking a drink any time Bella appears to be choking to death; you don't get sloshed, but a pleasant buzz definitely sets in by the end of the movie--another good one is any time she or something around her falls for no more motivation than 'she's clumsy').

What about those SweetHearts that have been massed produced and WAY too many people on this forum have admitted to obtaining?

garlic seasoned steaks next to a roaring bonfire... yeah ok its overdone.....

You could have some "sparkling" wine or grapejuice, of course bloody marys or red wine
Twizzlers- cause it was in the movie...and why not?
Apples- marketing works!
some of those annoying hearts
Generally foods heavy in garlic .
bat shaped cupcakes that sparkle would be hilarious.

Ok i'm not a foodie so there ends my list of culinary suggestions

Clearly Twilight Riff viewing parties must have sandwiches and omelets.
