I'm getting a little tired of all these recent movies.

The one advantage Rifftrax has over the TV show is that they can riff new movies - which just happen to sell easily. Can we blame them for using the one big advantage this medium offers?

Another advantage Rifftrax has over MST is they get to riff the entire movie, versus a syndicated/condensed version of the film. Sometimes after commercial breaks, the show would return to a completely different movie moments.

The thing that's always baffled me about TPTB's stance on this situation is that they seem to flat-out refuse to riff any older movies anymore.  As if riffing one older movie now and then will run Rifftrax into the ground.  Yet, in previous years they riffed quite a few older movies and were still able to stay afloat. 

What the Hell is TPTB?  Is it that difficult to write out sentences?
