Hey I'd buy a copy of Titanic if there was a Rifftrack for it.

Titanic you're ok with riffing... But you had a problem with them riffing Jaws due to the scene with Quint talking about the USS Indianapolis, because it was a true story... Yeah... ok. I guess the Titanic is what? A fairy tale?

I gave it a five.

it had some funny bits in it but it is hard to riff a movie this good and there was one scene that I thought was in really bad taste to riff.

it's just i thought it was in bad taste to riff the story of the USS Indianapolis,it's a true story and i really couldn't laugh after that.

I can't help it if quints scenes had an effect on me but Titanic gets so many facts wrong or just makes them up that it doesn't have any effect on me.

That post was about if I enjoyed the trax,I was able to up to that scene.

After that scene it  wasn't the riffing of the scene but just the scene it's self that made me unable to laugh.

I have said this before and this is the last time I will say it.

but if i remember correctly, they don't directly riff on the story of the Indianopolis, they riff the FICTIONAL character whose back story was written around the character to explain why Quinn is so fucked up.  It wasn't the extermination of jews, it wasn't a graphic rape scene, it a story that dealt with sharks in a shark movie.  What,  should MKB have remained silent during the entire five minute scene?  If its not the previous two things are part of it, it free game.  If its in the movie, it gets riffed, end of story.

Yeah, I just saw it was them riffing Quint while he was telling the story. Didn't see anything wrong with that. You don't like it, mute the riff for the scene, problem solved.
