Well, after much hemming and hawing, I decided I couldn't -not- see this in theaters. Bought tickets for Saturday matinee. It probably won't be sold out, but you know, just in case.

Which reminds me, I need to go get a ticket today.

Just thought I would let you know that the DvD and Blue Ray of the motion comic comes with a ticket to the movie.
Well, it will be a coupon good for the price of admission (generally up to $12.00).  But, it is not a ticket to the movie.

I love these things,I got Batman Begins on blue ray last year and got in to The Dark Knight for free.

It's the Betty Page bangs.
And also the fact that she looks better in red than in blonde.  Blondes are so overrated.

Here, here!!

Roger is currently building a small shrine where he will make offerings to the blue old chap possessing one.

Ok so I just read Anthony Lane's review, why do they give him these sort of movies to review, ever? He never likes them, he never understands them, and he evidently never wants to do either of those things. This is fine, he shouldn't be tasked with reviewing them.

It'd be like asking me to review a Godard or Tarrentino movie, other people like them, I don't and I'm never going to, nothing they can do will ever impress me so I would be the last person who should review them.

Oh yes, it is quite bloody. It's not often graphically violent, but when it is, it is very grisly. I mean it would have got a fairly high rating without the nudity/sex.

Yeah, I was also thinking that. Granted, I don't much like David Denby, and I usually prefer that Lane reviews whatever he can. But it probably would have been smart here to pass this one to Denby. Ah, well.

My life is now complete. I would watch that every morning if it was a real show (and have the lunchbox to go with it). It's just so outrageously ridiculous and butchering, it's like I'm drawn to it.
